Instead of using a premixed aqua regia, you could have controlled the amount of Nitric and not had to denox anything. A bit of salt would have dropped any other base metals and you'd filter then, twice through the same filter. All you'd have left is liquid gold, and dropped with powdered smb. Wash off with hydrochloric, then water trading off

I dissolve DMG in NaOH solution, as for the PGMs I use either oxalic acid or sodium nitrite

You used too much nitric acid. Warm up the solution then add sulfamic acid to DeNOx the solution then add sodium metabisulfite, after the gold has dropped remove it from the solution and boil it in distilled water

Add the powder in 100ml water until no more dissolves then use this solution to precipitate the gold

After the smb precipitation and washing, redissolve the gold and use oxalic acid or sodium nitrite to precipitate it again (this should eliminate any PGMs if present)
