GOLD RECOVERY / recovering gold with my sulfuric stripping cell , reverse electroplating

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

the last time i made a video about reverse electro plating , it was really popular so i made another with more detail

    Gold could be found on your led cathode Due to relativistic and classical shell structure effects, the 6s orbital of gold is significantly contracted and energetically stabilized. This is reflected by a strikingly high electron affinity, and a distinct tendency to adopt negatively polarized valence states. as for you're wash fizzing, that could be due to excess sulphate salts such as copper (ii) sulphate that was produce by you're method of electrolysis, copper (ii) sulphate is highly soluble in water an will react with water at high concentrations, some times it will even produce an exothermic reaction due to exchange of protons happening so fast

    Also sulphuric acid reacts violently to water witch would in turn increase the reaction even more, but you already new that because you mentioned it in another video 👍

    Also may I suggest building a fume hood. This process produces allot of toxic gases such as sulphur dioxide, sulphur trioxide an even hydrogen gases, just to name a few basics. The verious gases depands on the metals that are present, one things for sure these gases will effect you're long term health. Take care. No is gold worth risking you're health 👍

    Lol in simpler terms gold can adopt a negative charge unlike other precious metals that constantly have a positive charge gold characteristics allow it to adapt

    Thumbs UP Pete.I have a question for you, we can in this process to Use Electrolyte for Batteries | instead of sulfuric acid in case we do not have access to it.

  • @prospectorpete

    @prospectorpete

    You can use battery acid but first you need to filter it to remove lead particles and then you need to distil it until it's 98% because battery acid is only about 30%
