    These are ceramic CPUs, not soluble in sulphuric acid.

    @@ogbullion I know. But then there is also no hazard of losing bond wires suspended in the goopy mess the sulphuric acid/plastic leaves behind. And also those ceramic processors don't have any gold bond wires in them that could get lost.

    So that's like 0.0437 gold and 0.212917 silver from each of those Athlons xD noice work, precise, interesting separation there. Curious how does it change in newer CPUs

    Thanks! They dissolved in nitric acid, this is where the silver came from.

    سلام استاد برای نیتریک اول ۳۸ درصد بود برای تیزاب هم ایا ۳۸ درصد استفاده کردید وکلرید ریکم ۳۰درصد ودرضمن برای همه تنوعات قطعات الکترونیک این مقدار نیتریککاری وتیزاب ثابت است یا فرق میکند واگر فرق میکند درصد هر دو را بفرمایید بسیار متشکرم

    There is no gold inside in this tipe of CPU.

    How come you didn't break up the ceramic to get the gold bonding wires inside?

    There is no bonding wires in this type of cpu. It has a surface mounted silica chip that not connect with bond wires

    pleas help i used urea in excess and the metabisulfite doesnt precipitate nothing, what i did wrong, can i precipitate it again with ascorbic acid or zinc cianuro?

    Do a stannous test on the solution, if positive for gold add more SMB.
