Steve jobs hated the idea of Apple making budget phones that was not the BEST they could make (I.e iPhone 5C), he hated cheaper phones (I.e. iPhone XR), he hated big phones (I.e all the iPhones after the 5S and SE), he hated the idea of a stylus on a touch screen (Apple Pencil). Tim cooks has made this company his, and it’s much better. Steve jobs is dead. I am certain he would be proud of Apple being the only company to remove the bottom bezel entirely, to have display technologies non-existent on other company’s such as Samsung with 3D Touch, True Tone, 120Hz Touch-Sensing, Dolby Vision, Highest Full screen brightness, best colour accuracy. Apple also developed 3D facial scanning tech, and was one of the first for Fingerprint scanning biometric authentication.

I compared the very first iPhone (yes I kept it all these years) to the new iPhones and I’m like “if I wanted a phone this size, I’d get an iPad” lol I love the Apple products but no doubt mac has gone completely down hill since job’s death. The guy is rolling over in his grave as we speak! 😭

There is a reason they don’t include a fast charger with their phone. Believe it or not, fast charging and wireless fast charging does harm to the battery overtime. It pumps out 3 times as much heat to the phone as a basic charger and I’m pretty sure Apple doesn’t want its customers to damaged their expensive iPhones. 📱

Lamur Cribb The note 9 on release day was $500 if you trade in a phone you coulda bought for $100 off ebay. This XS or XS Max is $700-$800 with trade in of a $300 or so older iPhone model. Even without trade ins the note 9 is still $100 cheaper than the SMax

To stay at $1000, they needed to remove the dongle. When the A13 bionic chip is released then apple will need to remove the headphone to keep the price at $1000 and finally when the A20 bionic chip is released then Apple will need to remove the charger with USB cable to stay at $1000 price. How cool it is that they neither include a fast charger nor a dongle. That tiny brick is like half the size of the dash charger. OnePlus dashcharger is completely a different thing. Recently switched from iPhone 8Plus to OnePlus 6. Loving this thing. How fast it charges, earlier I used to charge overnight. Now it's like one hour and Boom.

I dont own an iPhone but their devices are really good in terms of speed and camera quality. what really takes the piss is that they refuse to bundle a fast charge brick and now a dongle, just so that they still have a way of taking your money after buying the phone. Explains a lot how they became a trillion dollar company, right?

Nah hiding the notch is pretty good imo, LG/Huawei is doing that some time now, the top bar still shows on the side of the notch but black so won’t eat into the rectangular screen space while no one sees the ugly notch.

Just saw the video in 2x speed. I'm convinced that that is going to be my speed for every iPhone unboxing ever.

Dude honestly you probably haven't used 3D touch that much, because "peeking" or 3D touching on notifications is actually so useful from and peeking into emails and other content is actually really helpful. Plus on iPhones that have home buttons, the 3D touch from the edge of the screen to swipe into other apps or to carousel is also really useful

Even calling the gold XS "band aid" is only one color. The back shifts so much, that is an understatement lol
