I too thought that The Very Hungry Caterpillar vs MrBeast was a peak episode

I watched this with a friend of mine, and the second the KO screen appeared, we collectively agreed this was our favorite episode ever

Was bizarre to not see a huge storm surpassing the first, kinda like anticipating a fight for weeks that never happens, but its nice now that the adrenaline passed

A lot was riding on this, but seeing how well they cover their bases, people are satisfied. Not to mention this was the penultimate episode to season 10, the finale quickly got everyone’s attention.

"Super" gets bonus points from me for passing a certain milestone. It is the first ever Death Battle track to get me to CRY!

I... Okay, I need to speak my heart out here. I wasn't all that keen on Goku versus Superman 2023 happening to begin with, mainly because I knew what the verdict was gonna be. I mean, let's face it: You can have 100 more rounds of this fight, and the victor STILL wouldn't change. And when I watched it, I ended up liking it a good amount. It took my expectations and blew them out of the water. It was indeed a fun watch. But then, after seeing yours and Nem's reviews of this episode, it hit me all at once. I was a huge fan of Death Battle from season 1, because I always found it entertaining to watch two characters fight to the death. I didn't realize that's what the point of this show was in recent years, as opposed to it settling silly debates back in the day. And now that I know what Death Battle is all about now, it's given me a much greater appreciation for it than ever. Even if there are some episodes that I may not end up liking, it will NEVER change the fact that I enjoy the series as a whole. I shall continue to watch it, revisiting some of my favorite episodes, and just have a good time. And of course, I will likely be popping off for the season 10 finale.

The thing i ultimately like about goku vs superman for me is that these two while powerful are not strictly defined by their power. They're defined by what they do with it. Goku not winning is almost completely in character too because in dragonball as a whole Goku usually loses a lot but the point of his character is self improvement in the face of stuggle or failure. Superman is defined by his humanity and his ideal for a better world. He is powerful sure, but he also is a person who fight for the good and represents the good in all of us. Thats why I like this death battle it captures both character perfectly. Superman gives goku a goal to strive for while Goku gives Superman a momment to cut lose and have some fun with his powers instead of stictly using them to fight villains.

I will admit that when I first heard about Goku vs Superman 2023, I was like "Oh great, here we go again." because two was enough and they even made that point at the end of the second one when King Kai (sorry if I misspelled his name) told Goku that it would be pointless to fight Superman because if he did beat him, there would be no one else to give him a challenge as much as Superman gave him. Weirdly enough, I wasn't even aware of the debate between these two until the first episode. I will gladly admit that I was so wrong with how I felt with this episode! The animation was so good, the music was beautiful, the fight was downright awesome and the friendship between them was great! This season has shown a few combatants that, if they weren't trying to kill each other, they could have been friends, maybe even best friends, and Goku and Superman were like one of the primary examples of this (alongside Scooby-Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog) which I really like and I hope that Death Battle will continue this trend down the line! I can't wait to see how season 11 of Death Battle will do!

I mean they have done this fight 3 times now and each time they have used a Goku more powerful than the last and they have still come to the conclusion that it still isn't enough, Can they just give it a rest...Goku isn't beating Superman. Superman is outerversal Goku is low multiversal lowballed. Big difference and wont change until Goku starts to do similar feats. I mean they would have to use CC Goku really to catch up to Superman but even he is still High Complex Multiversal.

I find it beyond intersting that goku vs superman 3 has the exact same problems as the second one but was much more... careful with the verdict as not to upset people.

DBS is way too overhated. I think that was communist-superman not ultra man. Good review tho.
