You could have always turned the candy move against Buu, evil Buu breathed the beam back to Good Buu. Gt kid Goku is a lot stronger than end of Z Goku, he was only weakened in stamina and ki control mostly towards ss3 and instant transmission.

Cuz later in the series he accidently shakes heaven and hell by charging ki in base while apparently trying to teach Frieza and Cell how to use ki and stops when he starts destruction saying " oops looks like i went a bit overboard " . And Ssj4 probably returns the mastery if not better than ever he transformed in it to put a building back in its place and didn't go breaking through it or anything .

In vegetas flash back in the nameik saga he mentioned about how the first ssj did in fact turn into a golden great ape. There was a picture of it.

12:28 GT Perfect Files , an official info magazine about the series states that Goku's strength from adult form isn't reduced in his kid form but his stamina has diminished , which is the reason he couldn't hold ssj3 for long earlier . But here with the tail the stamina issue seems to be fixed too since he clearly sustained the form for longer than last time and was actually beaten out of it .

Yep asking earth for strength while being at his last legs and that he recieves, awesome part of the narrative before the legendary one and they did this whole sequence so well Ssj4 just overall through the series is done justice , best transformation .

Not implying they stand a chance against these guys are you ? Goku and Vegeta are broken beyond belief , Base Goku would be stronger than Base Gotenks of this arc , so ssj3 Gotenks can't even beat Ssj3 Goku let alone Baby Vegeta who beat Ssj3 Goku in his ssj form and is now an ssj3 himself .

The power scaling for Majuub is different here than in the Super 17 arc. In the next arc, they make Vegeta look like the stronger since he goes down last. But here, we assume Majuub is leagues above even Goku's SSJ3.

Zenkai boosts . Yes in this arc Majuub is 8 times + stronger than Ssj3 Goku as he makes Super baby 2 go all out who is an ssj3 of Baby Vegeta whose ssj form already beat Ssj3 Goku .

Unless you count the artificial energy source used by Vegeta to do a great ape transformation in DBZ, which looked to only be a few hundred feet in the air. In the Dragonball series a full moon is any celestial body that is fully illuminated in the sky, that can be seen from the planets surface. Only things that that are explained is that it takes a tail and a full moon to do a great ape transformation and in GT what the trigger is. In Goku's current case, his emotional attachment had nothing to do with this transformation. It was the Earth had become a celestial body fully illuminated and he had a tail, in a couple episodes it is explained what causes the transformation. I do believe from what is talked about then that there could be a theoretical minimum size. Let us say that our moon from any viewpoint is generally 2 inches/50.8 mm across (yes oversized I know), but if our moon were only .25 inches/6.35 mm viewable. It could be too small to even trigger a transformation.

By scaling of this arc taking in account previous known multipliers , this is bare minimum an ssj3 x ape , 4,000x base form , since only this combination of multipliers would be able to overwhelm Super baby 2 not a lower one .

Super Baby 2 is very strong.

Of course he is. Not only is he in control of Vegeta's body, but he also absorbed the energy of all his followers which is what caused this transformation in the first place. The power gap between Baby and Goku is so great that even an adult Goku with a tail wouldn't be able to beat him.

People say Goku using the earth to transform into a Golden Oozaru doesn't make sense, firstly it's anime,so it doesn't have to make sense and secondly from a narrative perspective it makes sense for him to use the earth, because he met all of his friends and have countless of battles there. He has history their, as that's what he's fighting to protect and save, the earth civilization. Also Majuub is stronger than ssj3 kid goku and later in the arc, you would see what Majuub says.

Vegeta also explains in Z & Kai that it's not the moon itself that makes them transform. I forget the explanation but I think it's something around the lines that it's "the light that reflects off the moon that starts a chemical reaction in the tail that causes them to transform".

How does it even not make sense though ? Was there some pre established rule about earth simply not being capable of reflecting blutz waves ? If not , then we only knew about moon being capable of it , not every other planet not being capable of it , and if this is the case , then it's perfectly reasonable to introduce this logic. And an artificial moon that Vegeta used to transform is going way farther updating the logic than just earth being capable of it .

Adult Goku would lose almost just as bad because he'd only have mastery over some techniques like IT but power difference will stay the same as the first round of Goku ssj3 vs Baby Vegeta ssj .

It's the narrative of this arc and the new form before anything else . Goku asks earth the planet he grew up on for strength at his last legs and this begins the process of proving Baby who has mirrored the strongest of saiyans , wrong for bringing down judgement on these saiyans for their ancestors actions , this is the start of proving these saiyans are more than just the barbaric animals who k*lled the tsufurujins and took over their planet , that's the point , Baby has gotten the best of them as far as power through rage and desire for fighting goes , the previous forms which were unlocked through these motivations are not going to defeat Baby, it takes the human heart in full effect to beat the villain this time . Just the saiyan power and nature wouldn't cut it , see in golden ozaru he tries to remember something by stopping the rampage and looking towards earth but can't really do it , meanwhile Baby is about to be back with his own version of the same form which would be naturally way stronger than Goku's as the previous forms have been , then what gives ? Pan's stubborn nature pulls through as she doesn't give up trying to get through to Goku even though he taken over by his primal mind , keeps attacking her and pushing her away , she keeps trying and eventually ends up reminding him his purpose and identity with him accidently seeing a picture of the happy times they had as a family , only then does he finally transform into Ssj4 in time before Baby could get there with the stronger form and put an end to him , puts his hands up towards earth as if directly gaining strength from it and conquering the biggest level of saiyan rage , the chain like electricity signifying the taming of a beast as he screams at the top of his lungs with his hands up while transforming into ssj4 as the background goes red at the end of the episode is pure art and peak dragon ball . Baby with his primary motivation being revenge becomes the thing he hated the most and stays to golden great ape , Goku with his primary motivation being the intense desire to protect his friends , family and home (which is earth not the saiyan planet ) goes further and reaches Ssj4 , only in this form he can beat Baby , it's the ultimate love vs hate . Legendary narrative legendary introduction best form overall and perfect to be the final one of saiyans bringing things full circle with forms starting from pushing out power with rage and finally coming to fully controlling the biggest level of rage to win . Earth and Goku's relation is very important to the narrative here , not just a cool reference.
