To me, this is the true ultimate form of a Saiyan. It may not have god ki like some of the DB Super forms, but thematically, it makes the most sense to me.

@@humanman9920 In DBS, they make a difference between God Ki and Mortal Ki. God Ki is a lot stronger than Mortal Ki, can't be sensed by mortals, and can regenerate more quickly. All of Goku and Vegeta's new forms in DBS use God Ki.

" can't be sensed by mortals " Ssj4 literally caught Omega off guard making him say " that one hurt " by suppressing ki enough , and itself is shown to prove him wrong by sensing and stopping an attack that doesn't have ki while being blind , " regenerate more quickly " doesn't even seem to matter after BoG. Ssj4 itself has better abilities , upgraded version of attacks like 10x kamehameha , nigh immunity to hax after experiencing them once , great ki absorption ability negating even the attacks that significantly overpower it , way greater heightened senses more than just a consequence of stat increase .

Super Saiyan 4 is still one of my Favorite Transformation in Dragon Ball

I like how every super sayain transformation has its own theme. Ssj was like rock, ssj 2 was cinematic rock, ssj 3 is happier, and ssj 4 is like tribal rock music. Honestly for ssj 3 i prefer the theme that was used against the califla and kale fight in super. It was more mysterious

Man... I don't care for the GT hate, SSJ4 is still a dope transformation. I think I like it even more because I miss Goku's adult form and Sean Schemmel's voice, it's just goated.

The beach scene seems to imply 1 of 2 things about the End of Z. Either A) Bulma was full of crap and Goku has seen her in 5 years or B) Goku actually did go back and forth between home and training Uub.

Super Saiyan 4 is not a random transformation and it's not technically a Super Saiyan form. Super Saiyan 4 is actually a controlled Oozaru form. Also beast Gohan is not a random transformation. Ever since the creation of the character of Gohan he always had the capability to go to this berserker animalistic form of mine. The only difference is that Gohan actually can transform into the that state of beast without losing control.

Beast absolutely is , it is an asspull form created recently , his potential was only capability of growing in power faster than Goku and Vegeta not getting white hair and red eyes all of a sudden. That's not nearly the only difference , it's that Ssj4 has a good narrative while having to be earned by gaining control of the worst rage , beast is literal ssj2 teen gohan knockoff with a cell saga rehash moment .

Like Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct, Super Saiyan 4 is the greatest transformation EVER!

Honestly its the most underrated and the best transformation. Dragon ball Super should just go ahead and find a way to make it canon.

Toei doesn't care about any internet theorists saying old dbz and gt aren't canon instead of kai and will keep doing what they want cuz they are authority who decides anime canon , daima trailer literally shows both old dbz and gt with other series instead of kai supporting this " only one canon continuity " theory .

Wtf are u talking about , he got trashed so bad he couldn't do anything in front of him , so he ran away to get the same form , he can't see what's happening from all the way there to know he has a chance to cut the tail or something 😂 And he most likely didn't anyway , since he tried to attack earlier in a similar way but Goku stopped it and outclassed his reaction beating him up , bro was bullying him so bad he made him run away with a guided attack through some tunnel he was already standing outside of to beat him when he came out again . It absolutely was bro . What kinda training one day suddenly unlocks a random ass form that is teen gohan ssj2 knockoff with new colours for a powerup with an overall cell saga rehash moment ? It's just a random powerup in a moment of need not explained or built upto by the training at all let alone not even being original as its just a reshash of Ssj2 Gohan against Cell . At least at that time the buildup was original for Gohan and the powerup a natural succession of ssj forms.

It was. We had no in universe reason to believe that Gohan would have another transformation regardless of how much training he had. In the movie we saw him get into one fight then we were hit by nostalgia bait. In the exact same movie Shenron told Piccolo that he gave him "a little extra." That's called foreshadowing, and it was subtle, but that one line stopped Orange Piccolo from being an asspull. It had foreshadowing and actual logic behind it. We know how and why, he transformed. Gohan? None of that. "Trained" is not foreshadowing, because its a literal main theme of the series.
