Next to Darkseid he is my favorite villain

The reason Reverse Flash won is bc the only reason that Goku Black didn't die was bc of his ring which allowed him to live. Meanwhile Reverse Flash was a paradox making him immortal and there is no way to reverse that meaning Goku Black in no way could kill Thawne. But all Thawne had to do was destroy the ring and he could kill Goku Black with ease then and there.

To be fair, DC doesn’t always win. Some examples: Lex Luthor lost to both Iron man and Dr Doom. Batman lost against Spider-man, Black Panther and Iron man. Lobo lost against Ghost Rider. Harley Quinn lost against Jinx. Red Hood lost against Winter Soldier.

@@eon1014 a good way I like to look at it is usually the scientists of Marvel are way more powerful than the scientists of DC, but the martial artists and meta humans/superpowered/magical heroes on the DC side are just so stupid you can't comprehend it

For decades, DBZ fans were convinced that that DBZ was "on a different level." Truth is, the cosmic-tiers superheroes, guys like Superman, Thor, Wonder Woman, Scarlet Witch, and the Flash, are so goddamn ridiculous anyone of them could thrash a DBZ character with their eyes closed. Superman is NOT an outlier by any means. Remember, when Toriyama wrote Dragon Ball Z, he was specifically modeling his work after comic book superheroes, who had basically been doing the whole "casually obliterating universes," thing for decades already by that point. That's part of the reason why Dragon Ball Z feels so markedly different from classic Dragon Ball.

DC and Marvel characters have such long histories filled with both crazy and embarrassing feats that’s it’s very hard to judge their overall power. On-average (as in, where they’re usually written at) I’d say Dragon Ball characters are stronger, but at their peak DC and Marvel characters will always have the edge there. Plus, it’s not all about raw power. That’s something Dragon Ball fans need to realize, especially since the series has shown examples of that itself. Even if Goku Black was stronger than Reverse-Flash, Eobard’s abilities are more than enough to win regardless.

Zamasu and Thawne are perfect examples of human greed and arrogance and Gods have same problem

FR, the Death Battle would just take 1 second scene. But that's good DB wouldn't put Omnipotence character as a rooster cause that's an automatic win for them.

I mean both Pre-retcon Beyonder and Lucifer Morningstar were nigh-omnipotence and insanely powerful that both of them created their own universe and erase their own gods. Probably why DB never included insanely powerful character who can erase fictional character out of existence mainly of those of writers like TOAA(Marvel) and The Presence(DC Comics). Well, that's also mean Omnipotence VS Omnipotence is just pointless cause none can kill/erase each other. It's like asking real life writer to fight against real life writer from their own respective universe. If that's the case, might as well ask them to fight on UFC/MMA match.

What separates Reverse Flash and Goku Black is not only he's far faster than GB, but that Reverse Flash is actually immortal compared to Goku Black. Goku Black is Zamasu's mind in Goku's mortal body, which means his new body can be affected by things that can logically kill him, it was only the time ring that made him effectively immortal in a sense that he can't be affected by his timeline. Reverse Flash himself is immortal because his entire existence is unaffected by his timeline due to him being removed from time itself from being inside the speed force when Flashpoint happened. Removing the time ring solves every problem Reverse Flash needs. Phasing through GB's chest, aging his body to dust, erasing his existence, stealing his speed, etc. There are many outs Reverse Flash can give to GB to end him

As was the case with thor vs vegeta, Superman vs goku and reverse flash vs goku black. There’s way way WAY too much history and ridiculous feats from dc or marvel comics for dragon ball to match up to. These characters have existed for several decades with hundreds of individual stories with their own feats, whereas dragon ball is a (mostly) consistent story

He's lifted Infinity and fought beings that can think on a scale of Planck time and predict every single move an opponent can make. You're right that the lower tiers of DC probably don't hold up to the higher tiers of Dragon Ball but composite Superman losing to composite Goku is objectively wrong.

This is one of those fights that's a complete stomp but it's so good!

On if Dr.Manhattan has a Death Battle. Most common matchup I've seen for him is Richard Nixon from the Monument Mythos who created a Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman analogue like how Manhattan altered the DC Universe and that universe also had a Superhuman led the US to victory in Vietnam. He also sits on the moon in a similar pose to Manhattan sitting on Mars. Though a fan-made Death Battle already did the matchup.

I mean he obviously likes his character being good and etc, but to swap them to the most evil thing on Earth? whose with me on this thought process? Bruh in thor vs vegeta they didn't even give Thor the Odin force or thor force. With that thor was able to one shot Galactus who and I quote " was the most powerful he has ever been" so thor one shoting a powered up Galactus is Hyper impressive and above anything Vegeta has done.
