I hds a book on how to care for a baby. It was incredibly useful, the day I came home from hospital the leg of my nursing chair broke, it was the perfect size.

Well done! You've managed to pick up your baby, lose your car, get it back, look after a newborn,and photo him. Give him a name, live off crisps, and organise two passports in three days, all without sleep. You'll manage perfectly. CONGRATULATIONS!

Congrats! However, babies cannot sleep through the night for a long time. They get hungry, they pee, they poop, they are sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold. Whenever they are uncomfortable, they'll wake up and cry until you make them comfortable again. Good luck. DA

My sister had her first baby at 37, after the first week she said "You really have to maintain your sense of humor with a baby". She had her second baby at 39 and her third at 42. Now they're all grown with children of their own, seems like only yesterday. Congratulations for your new son.

Babies sleep for 12 hours every 24 hours but when they are tiny it’s broken into shorter periods and as they get older the sleep times join together to be longer. Night time feeds and nappy changes are developing their brain architecture from food and responding to their needs creates a secure attachment. You are doing the most important job in the world!!

I breastfed all three of my babies. But they all started sleeping through the night at 2 months. I chalked it up to exhaustion. I think that I was too tired to hear them and they just learned to sleep from midnight to 8am. I'd wake up because I was leaking all over the bed...lol

Your beautiful son will love watching this video when he's older. I am so sorry for all of the unnecessary trouble you have had here!!! Much love to you three.

The sleep will come! Physically newborns are not able to sleep through the night early on, but there are things you can do to get into a good sleep routine and help stretch out the long periods of sleep. As an American I feel like it’s so ironic that I’m about to recommend a British author to you 😂 Tracey Hogg was a British RN and she wrote the best books about baby sleep, feeding, and understanding your baby’s physiology through each stage until toddlerhood. Her book made such a difference for me with my second baby. You are going to get so much advice from so many people, just know that as long as your baby has love and feels secure then you are already amazing parents.

A nurse told me when we left the hospital with our first newborn all babies are good when they leave here it’s what the parents do with them.l took her advice & had two very good babies who were soon sleeping through the night.Happy for you both gorgeous baby boy.

Get rid of the book. The baby didn't write it, a grown up did. Ask other parent's. You will get so much more hands on info! Don't dive in the internet. Not all info can be trusted and a lot is simply not true. Follow the signs your baby gives you. Don't worry you got this. Love watching you btw❤

It’s not healthy to have phones and such gadgets close to babies though. The research in ongoing regarding the affects on tiny brains. The children of today are the guinea pigs for what the research will show in years to come.

Congratulations on finally and officially becoming dads. Your baby is so darn adorable. You are on your new journey now and your son gets to sleep through the beginning of it. So you have to make plenty of videos so he can watch them when he’s older. And then there were three ❤❤❤ beats.

Try not to worry. All new parents, before the baby comes, are delusional about how easy it will be taking care of a tiny human! And then the reality sets in. Don’t worry. Chill. If you are stressed, baby will pick up on it. Find a quiet place and just cuddle and breathe in and out, in and out and wonder at the arrival of your son … enjoy, enjoy, enjoy … it will all go by super fast! And you will both figure it along the way … there is no such thing as a baby manual. And if one is foisted on you, toss it immediately! Believe me, I wish I would have!

Yes I think all parents try to plan plan plan before they arrive … just for peace of mind… none of them planning works out haha but at the time you feel a bit more confident!

Ahhh, yes, lovely USA .... Im in Oklahoma, and everything is expensive .... Sorry you've ran into so many problems !!! 😔 But YOU HAVE THAT BEAUTIFUL BABY !!!!!

Congratulations!🎉 You are daddies! Dantheo (sp?) is a neat name. He is adorable of course! I hope he won’t become part of the content? It’s unnecessary. I love your channel just fine without a baby. Too many traumatized KZread kids coming of age suing parents etc… That was awful regarding the illegal towing. There seems to be some kind of a scam going on there. I’ve heard of this happening in the US before. I hope that got all sorted out and hopefully somebody got charged?

He’s beautiful I have six children and twelve grandchildren they don’t come with instructions and enjoy the cuddles because you will never get those moment back enjoy x

I watched this video second. The towing of your car would be upsetting to say the least. You can get a loaf of bread for a pound/dollar in the UK, That is incredible. I have not seen those prices here in the States for years. I am so happy for you all three of you. Jeff❤❤❤❤

Aww thanks!! Yes the towing certainly threw us off as it’s not legal to do that in the UK so we never even thought of it! And having seen food prices in the US I think we are extremely lucky in the England ☺️
