Moral of the story: 99% of the people playing Eve are assholes. The remaining 1% are casuals who just want to fly their internet spaceships and not be constantly harrassed by the aforementioned assholes. For a game that's supposed to be a "Sandbox", it is, rather obviously, railroading people into either joining a corp where they become an F1 Lemming or break out their credit card and start multiboxing, because you cannot get _anywhere_ in Eve by being a solo player and constantly shat on by these so called "Roleplayers".

I have to say, when I saw a feature length vid on eve I was like, nah, no way am I gonna watch all that. I watch a bit then move on. Then, here I am, reading the credits! Lol. Absolutely loved it.

I still come back to re-watch this once every few months, even though I stopped playing EVE long ago. I'm amazed a how well it captures the heart and soul of what EVE truly is about. ​@@geshscale6068 that's not how WiNGSPAN works. Cancellation agreements are final, and when agreed upon, WiNGSPAN leaves the hole.

The beginning was like watching a Startrek series where a Klingon ship would decloak.

I love how committed they are to the roleplay. At Wingspan, it's not "blowing up the guys you're paid to," it's "torpedo delivery!"

I only played EVE for maybe 1k hours, and a lot of that was in Highsec. I went into WHs maybe 3 times and got blown up by them. Got a lovely mail about the delivery. I couldn't stop laughing.

Ah, I remember this. Without a doubt, one of the funniest and most entertaining EVE... stories? I've ever watched.

Geez, I've watched this thing at least 6 times through like a favorite movie I like coming back for.

I think I've watched this about 4 times now from start to finish since it came out. It never gets old.

Watched this for the first time after this video was first uploaded 5 years ago. Best ever 2.5hr spent! I must say this is one of the best content videos from a game I've ever seen, can proudly say despite it's flaws no other MMO can generate THIS kind of content. This IS EVE, blow internet spaceships and have fun proud to be a eve player :D

Although I no longer play EVE Online, I vividly recall how much fun hunting for mining "care bears" in both HISEC and LOWSEC using now defunct agro mechanics was. I was a Caldari Deteis pilot using cloaky bombers and torpedos, it was amazing! Chance, you've captured the essence of EVE Online here in a way that most people don't understand. Hats off to you capsuleer, FINE production!

I happened across good ol' Andres today in high sec and that's why I am watching this again

I usually don't watch KZread vids that are over 30min. This one is an exception.

I really loved my time in a c3 with a small corp 10 years ago. We barely had enough people to be there. Our leader would multibox 7 to 12 accounts and kept that place running like a top.

I barely know anything at all about EVE, just been watching videos and learning, never played. This movie brought me so much joy! The double cross by Upholders, the salt from Andres, the whole thing is just perfection. God bless you, wishing your crew safe and happy deliveries.

Watched the whole thing while building furniture. This is just the kind of epic story that makes EVE unique. Kudos for capturing it and sharing it with the rest of us.

I'm a middle aged farmer who didn't really understand any of this, so why did I enjoy it so much ??😁

I think the best way to look at eve is this: you make isk to get it blown up. Thats where the fun is. If you can't handle losing money, don't play the game. Getting blow up and blowing others up is where the fun is

This channel made me start playing EVE years ago. Years later I have returned again, because I rewatched videos on this channel.

I remember my first torpedo delivery from wingspan...they delivered them to my rorqual lol good times good times

I watch this dang video like 5 times a year. Fantastic real story. This is EVE, dude.

Writing out the service letter complete with all of the deliveries made... in their language... now that's dedication. This is why Wingspan is the only way to get your torpedos.

I've played Eve on and off for 10 years, quitting 3 or 4 times. After 2 1/2 years' since I last played, this video has convinced me to play again. Eve always draws you back in!

No other MMO comes close to this sort of detailed gameplay and action. This could be 24 hrs of a battle/drama and I'd just keep it on the background.

This was GREAT. I was a member of Wingspan for a brief period about 4-5 years ago. At the time I had a hard time keeping up and following what was going on, as I was still relatively new (4-5 months) to the game. I just started playing again about 2 weeks ago. Still going to focus on stealth bombers. Once I get a better handle on the game, specifically pvp and navigating WH space, I plan on applying for the corp again. Keep up the good work. 07

Reminds me of my old time as a wormspacer. My old corp was a manufacturer and provider of handcrafted trouble. Either you stayed out of or way, or you got your teeth kicked in. It's a shame I had to go on extended hiatus and the corp died some time after. We would have loved to fight with Wingspan as you guys seem to share a similar spirit to my old corp. I wish I could rejoin a corp with such a strong amount of unity. Everything just clicks together.

This was a a great 2 1/2 hours spent. Loved every minute of it. Good job guys o7

Exactly When people say "We love PVP", what they really mean is "We love to ROFL-stomp, blow up and set fire to kittens" ... and hopefully not die horribly doing it. Still, some of the smug, adolescent, cavalier attitude comments in their fleet chat leaves a bit of a sour taste in your mouth. Andres certainly got what he deserved and this is what EVE IS like, there's no way to remove that side without making EVE a different and less fun game. Nice eviction and overall entertaining movie.

@@wingspantt Sorry, late to the party. Just watched this 2 years after the fact - Glad I did. The "Can I bring my drake?" comment at 1h 3m slayed me. Left eve years ago (back when T3s were fresh off the dev notes and T3 dessys were barely a glimmer in the dev's eyes) . Had been spending most of my time mining/ratting/wormholing/incursion for plex 'cuz most days I can't PVP my way out of a wet paper bag. (Never had actual experience to learn from, only instakill lolblobs). Always kept bombers/caps trained for the 1 in a thousand chance I'd get to use them (despite everyone saying they're garbage and only used by idiots and griefers), but I eventually left permanently because even in PVP/Nullsec alliances, I spent 95% of my time not in a fleet, only mining/ratting, and always worrying about if a potential loss might or might not get reimbursed at the whims of the CEO. Hell, even in corps like yours there was more backstabbing and hazing the newbie than anything else. That said - if by some miracle I do decide to re-up, d'you often take new people on to come stealth n shoot? Always wanted to be on the superior side of ambushes or in a winning fight at least once, and the concept of at least TRYING to pretend like you're roleplaying appeals to me. (Filthy dirty RPer right here.)

I think he has. HIENT wiped a WINGSPAN fleet later on, I think that kind of reset their feelbads about us.
