I'd say I get a similar feeling only in Starcraft, and sometimes in Counter-Strike. Most other competitive games are "oh well you die you respawn" but games where you only have one shot at certain things make it more nerve-wracking!

OH MAN!!! i stoped playing eve for like 5 years now, i played for about 6 or 7 years. watching your videos ALMOST makes me want to get back to the game. ALMOST! because i remember you surely spend 5-10hours of pure boredom to engage these 20mins of fun. miners or not, a kill is a kill. i used to be a cov ops pilot for agony unleashed, not even sure if they still exist. Im a wh vet. And watching u brings back earlier memories lol i will have to add u in game some day. Own a wh merc corp. We just fly around and declare war on wh corps and take evedything they have. A few mining ships is ok but the fun 7s whdn u take on there pos and wipe out there fleets of t3 ships :) those are epic times to remember. Overheating modules before your activity is the best thing you can do, 1 it will save you time sothat you don't "over heat" after the cloak uncloaks you to engage, 2 you can test it too

Eve noob question, what's with the huge white plain as your hud, the one with the distances? how does it help, just feels like it blocks your vision more than anything?

Tactical overlay shows you distances to various objects. Since every weapon and module has an effective range, it could be useful. In practice though I'm too noobish to use it correctly.

From inspiration of your recent ganking videos, my corp mates and I have set up 'Brave Provisions Tactical Resource Denial Squad'. Our aim is to: Remove miners who do not have a mining permit, deliver artillery shells to overloaded haulers, share the love to strangers who happen to be in our WH, and rid Catch of neutral explorers. You are doing great work. Artemis would be proud. For the purposes of logistics and shared bookmarks it's probably best if you get a dedicated alt in the corp! I don't have any corp assets so I am not particularly concerned about sabotage haha

WiNGSPAN TT any chance you can link it. Gone through some other videos but cant find it (probably me just being blind). On another note, kudos, glad to see you learning by doing. Just a little pointer however, as someone who often does this sort of thing, try to calm it a little bit. I know it really gets the heart pumping but you have to relax. Also, don't second guess yourself, something you seem to be doing a fair amount. (Obviously with time it will mean you get experience knowing what ships are what etc and what each boat is capable of). As far as having an align point, only use that for bombing. Align, launch bomb and warp (if you don't stick around to follow up with torps). When torping it can take a little longer, which means if you're heading in a straight line (towards your align point) you're easier to track. Keep up the good work.

This is an old feature that has been removed from the game for balance reasons. You used to be able to be notified when any pilot went online/offline.
