I only recently began my journeys into WH space. I finally got cloaking trained, so I jumped in with my cloaky imicus. I found a C2 with at least a dozen hackable sites and made 120 Million. It was my first big profit in Eve. Bought my first Astero and mobile depot and now am being a WH nomad. WH space is very beautiful. I bumped into one of your corp members in a shattered wormhole. I'm not sure stealth bombing captivates me but you and Sir Livingston have definitely stoked my desire to be an explorer. I've watched almost all of both of your (Eve related) videos. BTW thanks so much for making your video on Tripwire. Best thing ever.

One the most PRO meeting I saw on a presentation!

The reason missiles/torps don't do damage when you initiate warp is because this avoided Concord mechanic in the past. You could launch torps, and before they hit, you could warp away (back when concord didn't follow you into warp), or even jump a gate to other system.

SWEET! Out of all the ships in the game I'm LEAST experienced with stealth bombers. As I prefer things with a tank. (AF being the "smallest" example of a ship that can take a damn beating AND dish it out) So def going to keep this bookmarked and reference it. Hell the other day I literally got insta popped in a manticore because I misjudged the damage on a RLML caracal that my corp buddy tackled. I expected to last like 2-3 volleys. Nope... try 1 and a half. I was even waiting to spam jump on the wormhole as well.

xPreatorianx As a torp bomber, don't be anywhere within a 14.3 AU radius of a caracal. Those things are literally anti-bombers. Generally you wont take on a cruiser without backup/beachball sized testicles/knowledge that the player is extremely new or functionally retarded.

One thing I've wondered about bombers is... does there have to be a pretty big resist difference to warrant not using the racial damage bonus? I would figure say a purifier sticking to EM even though explosive might be a few points lower.

Does bomb damage have a falloff ? Like maximum at the epicentre, zero at the edge of 15km blast bubble?

+NikopolAU No it's flat full damage to the radius and 0 damage outside it.

I thought the dropping bombs joke was funny... tougher crowd some nights. Love a stealth bomber. I do PVE atm, getting used to ships and game play, but i wanna max stealth bomber skills one day and fly a nemesis :)

In an EVE setting it may make sense... but really stealth bombers get to warp cloaked and can do pretty much everything cloaked except attack (of course) And the black ops battleships... who are described as 'designed for infiltration and espionage behind enemy lines' in which u need to train to cloaking level IV(!) you can't even do anything LIKE that. I know they're specifically for jumping ships but u really can't do much solo for the attributes you train for. lol. you guys looking for any black ops pilot's : )? love ur vids too man!

+Bob Frankenstein You have to skill cloaking IV for the stealth bombers too, its totally pointless to fly them without the covert ops cloaking device

How relevant is this information in 2018? Specifically the ship comparisons. I've asked in game and the general consensus is that the nemesis is the best hands down, and I figured there could have been some large changes in the past 3 years.

+James Straley There is a delay before you can engage a cloak again. Also, you are likely in a group of bombers and you can't cloak if within 2km of something else, which you're likely to be after everyone de-cloaks. Also, if anyone locks your ship, you cannot cloak, and someone may do that while you wait for the reactivation delay.

I am sooo close to getting into my Nemesis.... Drag that I'm gonna have to train even more support skills to be really effective in it, But I'm gonna feel sexy as hell ship spinning that beast!! lol. Chance, I love your vids. Keep 'em coming!

Don't do it. Stealth bombers are only fun to use when you need to move expensive stuff. Otherwise they are pretty boring imo. I haven't lost my first bomber yet, but it has only gained me 2 kills.. Better go skill upp for T2 drones and go for the Vexor -> Myrmidon -> Dominix. That's fun for you.

I was hit by a bomb this night while fighting some battlecruisers and battleships on a gate. I was not impressed, it didn't even get my drones down to structure.. Surley i where suprised about what happend, but it was no threat to me nor anyone else on the camp. Only some wreck fell victim to the bomb. I was even hiting my MWD..

I already have T II Drones. I Fly a Domi in null pretty frequently. I am looking for a change in pace. I'm getting bored with ratting and would like to focus a little more into PvP. I know Stealth Bombers aren't really PvP so much.... in terms of 1 on 1 dogfighting.... but it's a step in that direction. Plus..... WH....Hail Bob!

You check the killmail, where it shows what dropped from the fit. Most of the time there is nothing worth the chance of getting blown up if you decloak to loot the wreck.

What if I am fighting against another stealth bomber? Manticore vs. Nemesis or something similar...

I know, but the Bombers bonus is on the Torps, i never Fittet some Rockets in my Manticore ;) The situation is... You are in an WH with an Torp-Fittet Manticore and want to Gank an other Ship, so you prepare for Fight, but before you uncloak, uncloaks one other Bomber (maybe a Nemesis). Can you attack the Nemesis and have a chance to Win (Hit and deal enough damage on it)? (My mid-slots: 1x Warp Disruptor 2 and 3x phased Weapon Target Painter [+30%])

My Bomber frags Frigates with no Problem. Target Painter + good Skills and Frigs are going down in no Time.

Yes you can get hit by your own bomb if you warp through your own bomb. I have seen it happen and I have had it happen to me. I can send u the KM in game.

ye smart bombs, that's what I would fit a stealth bomber with,... but idk, have not played in a little over a year

yeah you warp through everything, there's even a help article on damage during warp somewhere, accidentally stumbled upon it years ago but yeah the justification is that when you warp you are warping through spacetime itself. so if you can warp through a planet you can warp through an explosion

There are niche void blaster fits designed to take out explo frigs and especialy asteros as they counter torpedo fits. (Sadly talking from experience here)

Good info, but too much joking around.

Eve uni, is the king at drawing out literally 5-7 minutes of explaining into an hour. Torps high slot, cloak. Mid slots, After Burner, Warp Disruptor, Target Painter (x2) possibly. Low Slots, Ballistic Control Units Tech 2, X2 or x3. You need max skills in nearly all CPU related fields to fit Bombers properly, Bombers while a frigate are not the first ship class you should get into as they are a highly specialized class of ship. You can't hit frigates, or destroyers with out target painters effectively because your explosion is larger than the ship, I know this is fucking retarded and you would think it would be the other way around with frigates and destroyers being absolutely annihilated because they are encompassed by the entirety of your explosion but that's now how eve works, they are ass backwards. If a target is moving, your explosion may only hit part of them, if a target is moving 71m a second and its bigger than a cruiser, it will take full damage. Don't try to kill frigates in a bomber. Thanks for reading and enjoy saving yourself 50 minutes.

Well i sat trough it and i found it very informative and enjoyed the whole video. You know it's about information sharing making you a better pilot not entertainment? I might even watch it again in fact cause there are a stream of info all coming at you for 60 min can't remember every single bit. And oh I can also suggest reading the guide written by chance ravine it's also very informative

There are several other videos by the same pilot that are just gameplay, less classroom. They're great, I recommend checking them out. This video was made in partnership with EVE university... so yes, classroom atmosphere. If it's not your style, try something else.
