im trans and i kinda went through something similar as i progressed with voice training and as i became more comfortable with it i stopped trying so hard and settled into something more casual and less over the top that was also a little bit deeper. ur voice is gorgeous btw❤️

Omg I'm transmasc and have gone through withdrawals as a result of changing providers and the same thing happened me to me, but with my voice getting higher - and then I realized that i had started singing music written in the tenor range and it had just allowed my voice to be a lot more flexible and I'd been speaking "higher" because I had started doing acting and my inflection became more expressive

Your voice is literally fine. I know a lot of girls who have a lower voice than that.

I was thinking the same. Some girls born female actually talk deeper than her but you can still tell their a whole woman. It reminds me of myself. I have a quiet voice but sometimes I think I'm talking loud particularly when I'm high lol and ppl r like no I actually have a hard time hearing u lol. But when we talk we dont ACTUALLY hear the voice we think we hear something about the connection between our voices and ears I learned yesrs ago. Ppl on the outside hear something differently than what we hear. I'm getting feminime sensual undertone to her voice. Lower undertones are smoother to me or maybe it's because I like those voices that I think that way idk lol

whenever i miss doing my T shot i lowkey convince myself that my voice has gotten higher... but actually it's probably just me noticing my voice more and being more dysphoric about it. especially cuz my customer service voice is a lil bit higher, so i notice the hell outta it while at work on the days my dysphoria is bad. :((

I just honestly don’t see why people think you have to have some high pitch voice to be a woman. It’s one thing that irks me about some gay, trans, whatever. I don’t know all the forms but you get the point. It bugs me when they force their voices to be something they’re not. Just talk like you regularly would. Like if you’re taking hormone pills or testosterone pills and it’s changing your voice to be more masculine or feminine then yea, it’s doing that. But for you to purposefully raise or lower your voice, you don’t need to. You’re perfect and you can still be handsome and have a feminine voice. You can still be beautiful and have a masculine voice. Just be you. ❤

I’m curious if most trans women feel compelled to glam up to feel feminine because many straight cis women go very casual on a regular and may not have manicures, wear makeup, wear unisex clothing and have basic hairstyles. Are there trans women who are more on the Tomboy side?

You sound like a woman . totally normal sounding. I do the same thing in certain situations i raise the pitch of my voice then in others i don't. Nothing to worry bout. You are absolutely beautiful .

the sad thing is that peoples' idea of a woman is having fake nails, long hair, and a higher pitched voice. i'm not trying to write a hate comment or anything, but as a woman i find it very rude that we are being seen as those things.

I'm self-conscious about my voice because I often get confused for a man over the phone. I used to correct the person on the other side but got tired of doing it. In a conference call another person corrected the person fore me when they kept calling me "sir". That was nice of them I thought

You sound like me and I’m a biological woman. I’d say your voice is perfect and I wouldn’t even second guess whatsoever. Talk how you want,and how it feels natural, adding a bit of chipper to what you say makes you more bubbly seeming, when normal tone of voice sounds more casual and down to earth.

As a cis woman who has been mistaken for her male relatives on the phone, you've probably just gotten more comfortable. Trans visibility is making everyone forget how naturally androgynous humans are as they have their various flavors of gender panic.

It’s not trans visibility that’s causing that, it’s the transphobia and insecure mentality that a lot of people have when it comes to gender expression and identity.

I think honestly, in the end it doesn't matter( to us as your viewers tbh). We love you for you. Whether your voice had more bass or less bass. We're here for your personality. ❤️ and as long as you're happy with yourself, and comfortable then so are we :)

Cis woman here, group of girls literally mocked my voice in HS cause I don't speak in the squeeky tone. Felt horrible then. But now I've realized just how artificial they were, especially since the one would act like we were friends when she saw me out 😂😂 why do us girls have to be so horrible to one another

I'm dealing with a slight voice drop as I'm dealing with PCOS that I managed to avoid symptoms before until my mid 30's... I think I'm sounding rather sultry now! I'm also a reserve soldier, so maybe I'll try out some of the voice depending exercises I've seen some lovely trans boys talking about! Can't wait to see how bold my "Big Girl Voice" (command voice, stereotyped as used for cadences and drill sergeant orders) gets! ... But I'm just a mechanic, and not a very good one at that! So, I'll just have to use it to scare awful people who expect me to be quieter bc of how sweet I usually am 😂.

My voice is deadass so high and I'm a trans man. I can firmly say that voice is so under talked about in the trans community despite it being something we all very much struggle with Your voice doesn't make you any less of the gender you identify as. You are you, no one can take that away ❤️❤️❤️

Voices are complex. They changed based on when you wake up, time of day, and so many other factors. It’s why singers have to do warm ups and practice so much. Honestly, I wouldn’t think too much about it. My voice changes when I’m talking to my mom compared to my friends compared to my child. It’s effected by so many outside factors. You sound fine to me!
