piffiiiiiiit Have you ever made a video in your life ? I don't think you understand how fast we are going, there's no way of picking up good audio unless I set up mics in the engine bay. I was on vacation with a go pro, not out filming a movie.. I am also sitting at the back of the boat, there are no wind screens, much different then filming from inside a car...

It would have been nice to hear what the riders actually heard. I will never (I believe) get to go that fast in a boat. I crew for a pro mod drag boat that does 170 but it only has one seat in it. For me even the wind noise would have been fun to hear or feel.

My boss has a boar kinda like this. It's a Fountain twin hull design like this, only his is only 33 feet and has three blown Chevy 350's on the back instead of the twin engine like this. He told me each on was 700 hp so he's still short of the 2700 this beast is putting out. None the less, it's a blast to ride in and I am not sure the top end, we were doing well over 130 mph and that is PLENTY fast for me, and that was only for a short distance. Our average cruise speed was around 100 mph. We went from Clearwater to Marco Island in Florida in a little under two hours, which that trip is just over 160 miles. That included the no wake zone. So yeah, we were carryin' the mail as the old saying goes.

Lucky for you I was not on the boat. One of those seats would have been heavily soiled! Guy mentions seat belts. Other guy says you don’t want to be tied to the boat. Apparently you’re supposed to be launched like a missile just before hitting the water which will feel like concrete @ 170+MPH!!! Ahhhh, never feel a thing once you touch the water a few hundred times as you skip across the lake like a stone skipping across a pond! BE SAFE GUYS!
