Erm... with also a hint of well-backed threat. Especially with that. I mean the passage when the goddess' eyes shine with fire for a split-second is a hint that the sweet-talking goddess can unleash some devastating power if one pushes her.

It is always the goddesses of beauty that are the most dangerous she isn't the only one in greek aphrodite her background is really unkown but it was told she was once a goddess of war herself and she is one of the most important goddesses in greek mythology her aspect of love has more sublayers that shaped the greek mythology itself or let's say nurse mythology Freya is a powerful goddess herself too her powers were just like other norse gods yet her abiltiy to weild magic was toe to toe with odin and she held a domain of the dead in her responsibility we can say she can be one of the strongest gods in norse mythology

It's just a hop and skip away from other African countries. Sailing wasn't necessary. Ancient Egypt was thus more diverse than Hollywood would have you believe. Love this movie.Watch it every time it comes on.

One of those movies that you just can't listen to the critics about. It has everything you would ever want in a movie, including a bunch of actors and actresses you love or would come to love in the future. Jamie from Game of Thrones, Electra from the Daredevil show and Black Panther from the MCU, for instance. Just turn your brain off and fall into this movie, cuz it's awesome.

The Goddess Hathor was a representation of the divine feminine mother, and I find it very interesting to see the villainess wearing horns similar to that of Hathor, all while riding a monstrous snake, an image of the feminine mysteries and transformation. I love how the two opposing feminine energies go head to head, with the "light" feminine aspect bringing healing to the situation through the alchemical imagery of cleansing with fire.

Because the actual neters(the people didnt call them gods) of kemet(egypt was a later name) looked nothing like any of the actors that represented them in this movie. And its not like a marvel movie cause these people whose culture sourced the material for this movie actually existed and left detailed descriptions of how they saw themselves and none of these actors represent that.
