Markus, one positive thing I would like to point out here is that your beloved wife (of course the model) has a great patience, which is to be admired. She never becomes angry on you while you are explaining the things each time and down to earth cooperates. That's really appreciable. Rest, you are as good as you are every time. Keep it up. Thanks.

Another great video from this guy. He's an information machine. You blink, you for sure miss an important teaching. When trying to learn something from a KZread video, I have to fast-forward almost the entire video til I find something useful. With this guy, it happens the other way around. I have to stop and watch again in order not to miss stuff. That's the way to be an efficient teacher.

Markus, buddy you have helped me so much! I have saved so much money by seeing you prove that great photos can be taken with lower priced gear. The techniques you share really inspire me. Whenever a person in your position shares their skill and creativity, they have the effect of making the World a better place. I have a passion for photography that is very close to being obsessive; thank you for improving my photography and for teaching me how to best capture my World View!

Just a friendly advice to anyone buying the Ad200. Buy a silicone cover to protect the screens. I just broke my second one 2 days ago.

Another important point about using the AD200 WITHOUT a softbox, and with just the 4.7 inch reflectors or a diffusion dome, is that it is *MUCH* better at resisting the wind! The softbox acts like a friggin' sail, catching all of the wind, and requires some weight to keep it from tipping over with any good wind gust. With heavy duty stands, sandbags are rarely needed when shooting without a softbox - which I love...😍

Eternally grateful! Learned a LOT. I will ditch my 48 octa for my 2 AD200’s, speedlites & umbrellas more often to get the “surround” effect. I wish you covered two more scenarios here: using these indoors and at night, esp. Xmas settings. You’d have made us instant pros.

Nothing wrong with a 48, its great for studio and indoor stuff, and sometimes outdoors if there is no wind. But when I want to move fast and light, I try to figure out ways to keep things very small and lightweight, which is why I like using the stuff in this video.

The AD200 is MY choice to go with all the time. Looking forward to getting a 2nd one for using them just like you did here, be it separated as 2 light sources or together as a 400W single light source. Loved to see the AD-S7 in action. It makes me want to use the bulb much more. I haven't really used it or the fresnel head since I got the additional H200R round head from the beginning and it produces beautiful lighting, but the bulb has that extra punch that looks more contrasty and awesome.
