Well during the Battle in Asgard while Odin's war machines were destroying the realm gates to cut off allied reinforcements, Freya and the Shield Maidens(former Valkyries) also made an effort to cut off Valhalla from Asgard to stop the Einherjar from coming back again and again. I'm guessing it worked but Valhalla was still heavily affected by Asgard's destruction and the Shield Maidens might still be too busy with the aftermath of Ragnarok to do much about it. That and with Odin dead the "Worthy Souls" need a new purpose so maybe that's one of the reasons Kratos is there, figuring out just what to do with the place now that Ragnarok is over.

So there's a Cyclops, so that means either that Cyclops is Polyphemus, but that's unlikely bc Polyphemus got his Eye Stabbed by Odysseus, but it is important to know that Almost every Cyclops is a son of Poseidon, so that's one thing to know about 👀👀

I think there is a big opportunity of a aesir god or 2(vidar and forsetti) hiding there after ragnarok as a base. You also have to keep in mind mihir said “V is for vendetta”, which means that someone there could be wanting their own vendetta for what we have done(vidar and forsetti).

This would also fit perfectly with what Kratos said about justice and vengeance being at time common with one another “ the two are not always at odds” possibly hinting at the Norse god of justice “Forseti” and the Norse god of vengeance “Vidar” still being out their plotting their revenge

both kratos' greek and norse theme are awesome. Norse theme is his Father theme, while greek is his warrior theme. I guess they used his "warrior theme" because atreus is away

Great video as always MC... Fortunately we don't have to wait long 😁 I have a few questions about the trailer too... like, was Valhalla a lie? or become something entirely different do you think? mimir seems to not know much about this place and because it was meant to be the place where the valkyries lived and trained those who died in battle, yet we clearly see the valkyries training einherjar in Asgard. Valhalla appears to be more like a set of trials in aim to achieve something, mastering oneself being a big part most likely, with some other mysteries woven in (going off what the devs have said). Valhalla most likely brings ones past experiences to "life", which is why we see a cyclops in a potentially greek area. My hope is that it has also been turned into a prison of sorts... as you showed (i saw it too), there was a big chain in the distance, my first thought was it looked like the chain pandora ran on near end of gow 3, second thought was maybe the chain that connected to the island the steeds of time was pulling, my final and favourite thought was hopefully this is the unbreakable chain the dwarves made, which if true, could mean we finally get to meet hrodvitnir, a real giant badass wolf, that fenrir was meant to be lol i also hope this is linked to the mysterious woman twice mentioned in the novel, whom i believe to be skadi, but thats another wild theory entirely 😅

Thank you sir! My guess is Valhalla changed somehow after Ragnarök. It is a part of Asgard but survived the realm’s destruction somehow. So this is like a protective measure for something.

I noticed we didn't have any companions along side us. With that being said, what would the up dpad button be bind to now? Maybe we could have a new set of weapons to choose from for each run? Originally I wanted to be able to cycle through the different spartan rage paths but they said in the ps blog that you need to commit to one per run. So maybe a new weapon?

Of course ares and zeus were technically mentioned, but Helios is an actual Talking character with his own model and even sub Attack, so in the end, the 2 Helios fans stand on top, the rest of the sane fandom hold that L

I'm sure Kratos would finally die in Florida.

Am I the only one who is actually concerned by the fact that it is free? How likely is it that we get important additional content to the base game such as Phantom liberty was to Cyberpunk, the Kaito Files to Lost Judgment, or Burning Shores to Forbidden West ? This is Santa Monica, one of the most beloved and respected game studios of all time, the total opposite of Activision with COD or EA with Assassin's Creed. Thus, it might actually be good. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to complain about free stuff. I just want to be realist and calm the hype. Has there ever been an important , good Free expansion in the entire gaming industry, which is a business before anything else ?

That path of Ragnarok of been a peace God is not the way of been whorship in that message. It seems to me the future Kratos seeks "one he never thought possible" after the speech he gave at the gates of Asgard before they went into the portals means another fater worse than death. Kratos has realize his future is to go from mythology to mythology killing the Gods and freeing the people from their rule. A path he never thought he would seek possible since he wanted to avoid and redeemed himself again after all this time. Something Kratos never wanted but cry knowing he can't escape his fate no matter how much he tries to run from it. Kratos makes his own fate. And he has decided to go back to his roots and take back what he lost his warrior spirit. He will become a general once more and overcome his future. He won't go back on all the character development he went through. No. He will merged both and forge a new Kratos for the next God of War pantheron.
