That just shows how much on bigger scale were old GoW games, comparing them to downgraded more grounded "Souls like" new ones ( which og fans don't like very much )... IMO old GoW's >>>>>new ones.

For the record, Gerard Butler's Leonidas is the closest we've seen to anything as kratos on screen.

Man they better do it right because the god of war franchise has a lot monsters and god battles, let’s hope that the series will what I expect

I'd like to see James McAvoy on the list. We know he looks good bald, has played characters with anger management issues beautifully, and can grow the muscles of a demigod when needed. Nuff said.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson. No question. The only organic human capable of pulling the character traits off. You could even over dub (Vadar style), with Chris Judge voice over, for truly cinematic effect.
