The is the most impressive playoff run in NBA history, this cavs team wold be amongst the bottom 5 teams in the league with no James, instead they reached the NBA finals.

I mean MJ could facilitate. He jsut plays in a system so the ball has to move around. Lebron doesnt play in a system so he can make any decision he wants with the ball. Look at 89' before Phil became the Coach, MJ averaged 32, 8, 8. Those are around the same numbers that Lebron averages. MJ could do the same thing if he had the ball more. He can def beat Oladipo, Demar, and a rookie Tatum in the playoffs.

He dragged his team to the ECF and lost to the eventual Champions Detroit Pistons, who by the way swept every team including the Lakers except the Bulls. MJ basically did what Lebron did in 2018 if not better considering the defense.

@@mackdef475 How is Kobe 2nd ahead of LeBron? Kobe is borderline top 10 while LeBron is minimum top 2. I would also put Bird and Hakeem in the top 5 ahead of Kobe and Duncan. You can claim that LeBron lost to inferior competition in the 2009 Magic and 2014 Spurs, but that wasn't how it played out. The team support that LeBron actually recieved in the 2009 ECF and 2014 Finals was inferior compared to the competition that he was playing against. LeBron played great individually in those series', but his team just didn't come along. You can argue that LeBron beating the 73-9 Warriors while leading both teams in ppg, apg, rpg, spg and bpg for the series (the only player to ever do that in any playoff round) made LeBron the GOAT. You can also argue that this 2018 playoff run and winning the assist title and NBA title in the same season in 2019-20 made LeBron the GOAT. Idk how you can claim that Kobe is greater than LeBron though, I don't understand any angle that you can try to take. LeBron is better than Kobe in every overall category (scoring, passing, rebounding and defending). It's really not even close. You are significantly overrating Kobe by having him 2nd and you are significantly underrating LeBron by having him 6th. It's more like LeBron 1st or 2nd and Kobe 8th-12th. I would have Duncan outside of the top 5 as well even as a Spurs fan.

I've been watching Jordan's games these days but I still think that Lebron is better. Lebron is literally a different kind of player than Jordan and Kobe. Jordan and Kobe have more efficient mid range jumpers but Lebron is good at almost everything. He even plays PG, SF, and PF efficiently. His passes and his power is amazing. His speed is incredible even if he is 6'8 and is 250lbs but he's not playing defense lately.

On another note, that was the heat trio's first year together. BUT still i have to agree with you. They were the better team, and they got their arses whooped that year. Though I wouldn't say lebron had a better team than mj. Everyone in mj's team complemented and adjusted in every way to become an effective team that beat every solid team. Lebron may have had dwade, but dwade regressed during that heat era coz of lebron and cb was "sorta" being left out of that trio. Just to clarify- I dont think lebron is the goat, MJ proved that with all his allocades and fucking bonus of hard earned 6 championship titles. Rapidos60 honestly people made a huge deal out of the celtics missing kyrie and hayward. They beat the sixers in 5 without them and hayward shouldnt even be considered part of the team since he didnt even play 5 min the whole season. Kyrie is amazing but the celtics system is much better defensively without him. The celtics had a great young core and terry rozier was putting up similar numbers to kyrie and jalen brown and al horford are very good players. Jayson tatum was the best rookie in the playoffs hands down. And the cavs played like trash. Cavs had two players averaging double digits in points and celtics had 5. Second leading scorer on cavs was kevin love who only averaged 12.5 ppg.

What's crazy is how great Lebron looked in that Game 1, and then just totally takes it up a level in the next game
