This, in my opinion, was his best year because his game was so balanced. Nobody expected this team to make the playoffs, let alone the finals, halfway through the season the team had 34 lineup changes. In this finals run, we went to two game sevens and even swept the number one seed Raptors. Although we did not win it all, it was a run in LeBrons career that I will never forget.

There is no better testament to the greatness of a player than his ability to carry his team deep into the playoffs. Jimmy Butler, even though he hasn't won a ring, has carried his team to the finals. Chris Paul carried a trashy thunder team to the 2nd round. Derrick Rose carried his bulls to 60 win seasons. All great players despite not having a ring to show for it.

2018 Lebron is PEAK James, dude hit timely game changing 3’s. Could chase down no problem. Drive to the rim was impeccable. He still passed as he always does. That means like a Magic type dude. 2007, the Cavs were one of two teams in the East that won 50 games. He didn't play against a team with a winning record in the playoffs until the ECF. That's not carrying.... In 2018, he faced a team led by Victor Oladipo, the front running Raptors and Boston who didn't have Kyrie and were led by a 19 year old. That's not carrying.. Then he got swept, after he quit in game 1 regulation. Prime LeBron only carries when their isn't much competition in his way.

That team was not as bad as it seems. You had Kevin Love, a prime Tristan Thompson who was a very good all around defender and rebounder, a prime George hill was a solid player, JR Smith, and great shooter in Korver. Nance was a good finisher.

I got MJ as the GOAT but LeBron is ridiculous. I never understood how people compared him to KD. He's much better. 2018 LeBron was his OFFENSIVE PEAK. his reading of defences, his jumpshot and playmaking were all at a high. I still belive 2013 is his best year by far because he was still as good offensively ( he was actually more efficient and the ebtter finisher) and MUCH BETTER ON DEFENCE. only God knows how LeBron didn't win DPOTY in 2013
