Hey Mark...I'm hoping you can answer this question for me; From your understanding of Gods Holy word, can a woman remarry if she is divorced? ( I got a divorce from a man I was married to for 22 years and he secretly cheated our entire dating and married life) He was abusive and very cruel, and he cheated constantly. I have been single for 5 and half years,does lots of counseling, and I have a strong desire to get married again. Should I give up on that or would you say I still have a God given second chance at a real marriage?

I’m not Pastor Mark, but Moses set the law of no divorce I believe but in the New Testament when the Pharisees try to use it against someone an addendum is mentioned. Forgive me for offering answer. I struggle much so I didn’t want anyone else to struggle

1. Confront issues and solve them instead of running away from them. You are mature enough to commit and grow with another person. You overcome obstacles together. 2. God is teaching you to be secure in Him so you are not crushed by loss. When you are secure in God, you won't be utterly crushed by others you trusted. Make sure your ultimate joy and security are rooted in Christ. 3. When you realize loving relationships are more about giving than taking. Love is giving AND receiving. God is a giver, so be a giver! You're welcome. :)

I think that, if you need to give your relationship time to heal, or you need to take some time apart to assess things, then that's fine. Sometimes, a break is just that - like a mini vacation, and a chance to refocus on yourself and God, instead of this other person. I am sure that God will come through for you, but I'm just saying don't be afraid to step out and do something that might seems scary at first, but that could be very helpful. Also, recognize that everyone has their own personal walk with God, and their own inner issues and demons that they need to deal with. When both people are secure in themselves and in God (when their "cup is full"), it become much easier to be committed and kind and loving to each other. So sometimes we have to give people a chance to work on themselves and trust that they will come back to us renewed and strengthened. I pray that your marriage will be blessed and that you will get through all of the rocky bumps in the road together. 🙏🙂💗

Amen I have been single for a while these men are sooooo just NO lol I was giving up on finding my God fearing honest man.Then one day God told me what to name my kids so tht gave me hope if there are kids in my future I will eventually be married.we just have to trust in him and wait until his divine timing to place that person in front of us.God is worth the wait when I try to find love I get counterfit relationships but when God do it omg its going to be a blessing ❤

Everything you've said is very true. I got hurt in the past and I closed myself off from men for years. But fell for a nice guy. I resisted falling for him. He saw my struggles and was patient with me for months until I got comfortable with him. I felt that there was a pull to him and him to me. I do believe that if things don't work out for what ever the reason. I can deal with it and accept it. The most important thing for me is to have God in my life. I'm good to go.

Currently going through something similar and I’ve been praying everyday for God to show me a sign that this relationship is within his plan. I don’t want to deter from it and if this man isn’t part of the puzzle then I rebuke him in the name of Jesus.. but lately, he isn’t giving up and feels a pull towards me and I him.. I’m scared to get hurt again but like you said, I got God I’m good.

Well, i cant relate because i havent met that one God has for me but, i'll keep holding on to the faith even though it's been a very lonely time for me :(

3 out of 3 again! One funny thing - I have never fought so much for a relationship as I have for this one, but it is totally worth it! The right one is worth the struggle. Sometimes I feel like Joshua waging war to get to the Promised Land! Which is true in more ways than one! And number 3 is just perfect....felt that from the beginning. It is so much more fun and satisfying to give to the one you love! Especially when you give them or do something for them that no one else has ever given or done for them! To bless them in a way like that is priceless!

Our challenges are not harmful just vulnerability and true transparency. I am having to learn to listen and be mindful of my past defense to run. For those of you watching like me that have learned or are learning these things, and haven't found the one. Take heart because at the end of the day finding the one will never be your true joy. Your true joy is found in Christ, and He obviously loves enough to still be teaching and guiding you in your life. I just wanted to say that because it can get discouraging to want to be married and not even dating for it.

God is so good! my bf and i are having issues right now and we both want to work through them bc of situations that we’ve had throughout the year we’ve been together. it was kind of unhealthy for a few months but the things we have disagreements on can be settled. i’ve come back to Christ partially because of him, and i am at a point where i know i’ll be okay whether we stay together or not. thank you, mark!

this in turn explains that someone I was trying to meet up was so different from me but also trying to run away from issues. he would say that he needs time to think through and have time for himself, but he would get mad and upset, making me upset as well... I can confront issues and talk it through calmly. i realize he wasn't ready!

I am less than two minutes in and this is what is happening as I get to know a person. I was getting discouraged because I thought God was saying I am still not ready. It has only been in this getting to know journey that I am very challenged with vulnerability

The point of "false lovers" and also that one can still be hurt but it will be okay because God's love will always still be there is so fantastic and important! It is a mistake I made several times when I was younger. I'd been practicing it more recently without entirely realizing it, but hearing it said is exactly what it is. It is exactly why the pain of a distanced dear friend is painful but not something that has destroyed me like much lesser things between ex boyfriends did in my past.

“Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:6-7‬ Don’t look for signs and mediums. It just leaves room for the devil to deceive you. And not all of the body of Christ are called to marriage.

May god bring me the right woman he wants me to marry and be my wife in his timing

I dont normally comment on videos, but this was the first one to pop up when I looked on youtube today, right after I got back from lunch with a girl. Definitely need some help real quick if anyone's willing to reply to this! Because she isn't a firm believer, she has questions about the LorD due to things happened in her life and after previously being in a relationship with someone with absolutely no faith im EXTREMELY hesitant about pursuing this. I'm getting so extremely sad and hopeless I will ever meet someone let alone get married. As the world is the way it is and it's so much I haven't got prepared for to be married, idk if Its anymore time for it to happen. I know some people would say it's ok it may be better to be single but idk about that especially if you were in my shoes and being really lonely. I think I may move back in with my parents to hopefully get rid of the loneliness.

Yeah, it stinks. I can relate, it's tough to meet someone, especially when you're older and you've had lifelong problems that don't work out. But, God is in charge all the time, and He knows what he's doing because i sure don't! But that's what faith is, trusting his judgment.

I completely understand! I became a Christian at 21 and didn't get married until I was 41. I was in 12 weddings, at times very discouraged. But I always believed that God would come thru. So, I started to do some work on myself & allowing God to mold me. I decided that I'd rather be singlely happy than marriedly miserable! I decided that God would be my #1 Man & # 1 Provider (still is today). I've been married for 10 yrs & it wasn't easy for the first five years, because we were both set in our ways, but God has brought us thru it along w/ safe friends & counseling. We are enjoying each other, because of God's mercy and His Grace. Marriage is not a destination, it's a journey. Marriage or the lack there of, doesn't define you, Christ is our identity. Gary Thomas says "Marriage is meant to make us holy, not happy." Happiness is circumstantial, but true joy comes from within. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. I had to tell myself for the many years I was single, that I cannot want marriage more than God, because only He can fill the void inside all of us. If we think marriage is the only thing that can make us happy or feel less lonely, once the honeymoon is over, we'll feel evev more empty , because only God can fill the void in our hearts. We were created to worship God rather than created things. God bless and may you hold on to God, the lover of our souls. Do not lose heart.

It's really difficult to define a perfect relationship.. coz as in life we faces ups and downs... In the very same way in relationship also we do faces ups and downs... And according to me that kind of relationship is more worthy than the one which doesn't face any issues... Although Romans didn't realized the love of God for the whole humanity but after his death and sacrifices they all got the point that God really loved them alot as he cruified himself for the sake of our sins.. so in the very same way love is all about giving rather just making them force to stay with us... If you truly love someone you will work for their happiness.. praying God to fulfill everyone's heart wish... God bless ... Amen 🙏

All of a sudden I keep seeing old posts you have done, on sign of getting in a relationship soon. Gives me hope. I feel God is telling me it is time for us to meet, in next 4 months.
