No disrespect or so, but Chris and Thobbe shenanigans was always better. For example Thobbe was first with the Swedish Pagans thing Dont get me wrong Tommy is great he is very talented, and a good performer, but i feel Thobbe is a better fit for Sabaton However, this is very beautiful and such a good gesture to the guys in Sabaton It was nice to have Tommy, but im glad Thobbe is back Also cant wait to see what Tommy does next🤘

Argent wrote it and did it first. The best, and longest played cover of God Gave Rock and Roll to You, is by Petra, Greg V Volz was the vocalist, his version is the best of anyone, Petra continued this legendary cover with vocalist John Schlitt (formerly of Head East), still beloved song from by many fans (Petra has been a band 52 years). KISS did a cover of it. Don't hear it anymore anywhere. Tommy did great with this cover, sweet tribute to his Sabaton brothers. Greg X Volz did it best.

I first heard this song recorded by the classic Christian rock band Petra on the Beat the System album some near 40 years ago. It was a KILLER riff way back then, an INSTANT CLASSIC jam that stands the test of time. Tommy's version here just has so much more soul and emotion and overall LOVE just oozing out from every note. With Tommy's involvement with several other Christian Metal bands, namely Reinxeed, DivineFire, and a few others, this makes such PERFECT sense to me. His glorious riffage at the start of this cover is just the auditory kick in the ears I needed on this FRI-YAY!!!! Thank you Maestro Johansson!
