Every single person in that gym knew what Luka was going to make a step back 3, except Gobert who was back peddaling away from the 3pt line as if Luka was going to drive to the basket and Rudy didn't have 2 defenders behind him to help. Seriously, he had one job in that situation, prevent the 3, and he's basically standing on the free throw line.

Im not a Rudy fan but the loss is not on him. He played great in this game unlike KAT. They still had a possession which ANT didnt take responsibility and Luka main defender switched Way too easily on a weak high pick.....if you see closely Rudy tried to re-switch but the other guy just run down ... great play from Luka but unfair to blame Rudy

Ant tried driving in the paint a lot more this game but rather them go up with authority when he could have on some drives he kept dishing out and guys weren't making those. But you need to know when guys aren't making those you need to bail them out and take over this game!

Not a big Gobert guy but it was solid defense but a nasty shot. Reality was it was a mismatch but Luka would have done that to anyone on that roster. Man is being hated on and scapegoated.

NOT Rudy's fault. It's a coaching error. Rudy shouldn't be in the game on that play. And if he is in the game then he needs to be protecting the rim.

Rudy you should have not been in that situation bad coaching.

If you're blaming Gobert for this, you definitely don't know 🏀. Minnesota chose the absolute worst option defensively. 1. In this situation, (up 2, on defense) you should be trapping Luka and make someone else beat you. 2. If you're not gonna trap, why are you switching? Jaden McDaniels wanted absolutely zero to do with Luka on that last play, because he didn't wanna be on the highlights. 3. Luka doing that to everyone

The loss is not on Gobert, it is on Ant who was too passive throughout the game. If he is next then he needed to take over in the fourth…but the Don told the young Wolves to hold his beer. I wanted Minnesota to win but am a realist. Don’t mind two Aussies getting a chip either.

He started well attacking the basket, got FTs because of it, and then didn't show up second half at all, KAT is yet to be seen. How McDaniels gives you 24 first game and they fumbled, now nas Reid holds them in the game bombing 3s and they fumbled once again, this series might be over.

Why not mike Jordan son? I never seen Kobe or mike not challenge anybody when the game on the line. I’ve even seen kyrie and Kevin love lock up Steph in these moments When u got it u got it nobody gotta guess Jordan son was pose to check Luka

Watching this game.. we seen Luka get that Ridy switch, and when he shot it.. we all screamed NOOOO. I think we all knew that Luka was making that shot.

then shouldn’t that mean that rudy should learn how to be more versatile on defense wise he has to learn to guard the perimeter since he got the paint defense on lock i get it he likes to guard the paint but the league is getting more versatile on the offensive end especially for new bigs yea there’s gonna be bigs that wants to drive in the paint but if they see a shot they can take they’re gonna let it fly and if he wants to camp paint then his team better learn how to do a 4 man out n they gotta learn how to blitz and slow that person down from getting to the paint easy for rudy can get ready for the block and what rudy needs to do is actually play as an aggressive big its time to stop playing passive he can aggressive in that paint and score
