3:56 why we need semi-auto. A second shot would have been able to fully kill the goat rather than cripple it and leave it to die

Semi-autos mate are still available to professional cullers mate. Like it or not, Joe Public will never own an AR again in NZ. I know goats are pests, but like deer they should be killed humanely with accurately placed shots. There is some good accurate shooting in this video, but that young lad snatching at the trigger needs a bit more practice with his older mates. He looks to have a good eye, but he’d be a better hunter if he took his time and lost that flinch.

The lads are doing the farms a service unless you would think they should be out at the LGBT perade or BLM protest, they don't show resemblance to the mosque shooter so I recon there doing just fine

@@thedeviltoldme215 you sound a wee bit triggered mate, are you ok becouse you sound a little sensitive causeing your agreshon. I live and hunt in New Zealand were goats are an introduced ferrel species. We have no natural predators and therefore they are detrimental to the eco system. Fair point that in a perfect world the shot would be humane but realaty is that not every death is a fairy tale ending. If we had bears, large cats, wolf breeds ect, they tend too inflict on there prey a more horific death. Sometimes playing with ther food or tormented training for there young. My comment was regarding young men out experiencing healthy pastimes with safe gun handling practices. They were not intenshonaly shooting to mame the goats and placements could've been better but life is not perfect. In a world where it is now normalised for boys too take it up the ass and pick your gender at school every day I'm thinking those lads are makeing good choices for there weekends activities. Plenty of young lads out playing with guns in other countries that don't show the same respect for others let alone anamils. Go to Chicago, or Brazil and preach your cause before forming your nieve opinions of these young men. Clown.

Custom Outdoors Thank you for your response. There were a lot of pest in Australia: wild horse, camel, donkey, deer,..., they shot those animals and let the animals bodies get corrupted in the past. These years recently, they expelling and catching those animals to farms, utilizing and selling animals milk and meat; they open some areas for tourists go hunting. Many people are lack of food, even get starvation. Some people export the products of those animals milk and meat. Also there’s no animals bodies corrupted pollution in wild land. Many countries handle pest control, but not only just shoot the animals, it’d better do further utilization. There are good mountains, water, air, animals and beautiful scenes in your country, please consider these resources as very precious, look at the value, don’t waste these natural resources. We don’t have much natural resources, imported milk, meat grains and other products from your country and Australia. Also our government (Taiwan) has very strict laws of guns and knives control, nobody can easily own gun and some kinds of knives, anyone who get against the law, even has an illegal shot, firearm, air gun and operating gun, fire powder whatever about the law listed, the suspect will be arrested and put in jail for many years; moreover, up to capital penalty, that is the punishment of death execution. There was foreign crew brought air gun got arrested, many countries treated air gun or operating gun as toy, but the government’s law listed it’s arm, munitions, a kind of weapon. There’s animals protection laws, nobody can go hunting without permission. If someone killed or disturbed animal, even a sparrow or bird, the suspect would be arrested, put in jail; showed in media, criticized and blamed by people, saying that is cruel behavior. Even handling pest control, nobody can do it privately, must be carried out by the government, used all ways without effective result, the last way is shooting, but the government doesn’t like shooting at all. Whatever reason about toppling government, society security, animals and environmental protection, our government always want people no gun, no knife, no shooting, no hunting, no killing. Also there are many religious, animals, environments groups always claim that as same way. Maybe differences of situation and culture exists, people’s thinking and view may be different. Please think about the other utilization way of animals and take action, not only doing what people did in the past. Thank you.

Sam Williams Thank you for your response. Main view is the education of young people, the second is the utilization of goats. Due to one person responded impolitely, treated others’ and my questions were “judging”, said stop judging, so we won’t talk about goats, we don’t like to deal with those rude people. The world is changing, the suggestion is let young people go to school learn something more, it may be helpful to their carriers. Wish you, youth and the country have a bright future.

@@tonylipton4068 Pest control on private land like this is usually the responsibility and discretion of the owner, with some exceptions. Carcass utilisation is a matter of logistics and preference, it's not an ideal world, and whenever recovery of carcasses etc has been viable, it has been commercialised. Time is money, and unused carcasses are simply environmental recycling

Gabe Elkins Thank you for your response. All pest control must be well planned and systematic executed by the government, it’s not only just a few people shooting some animals. The government runs. Due to someone responded impolitely, it’s seemed nobody can write comment, treated it as “judging” and “pissing”. I don’t want to talk about pests, it’s must be the government’s affairs. The other view, I think it’s more important for young people to go to school learn something more. The world is changing, I suggest youth get better education, catch up the way, not only do what they are doing, won’t get behind, wish they have a bright future. Also wish you and your country have a great future.

@@tonylipton4068 slaughter is exactly what it is. The only cruel part of killing is how you kill the animal. In this case its a quick and easy death. Leaving a dead animal does not count as cruel. That's a miss use of the word cruel.
