I just want to let everybody know that the tryouts can last for 3 intense days. You have no idea how exhausted you can be by the end of it all. To all the people that say wrestling is fake an soooo easy to do: Go to one of those tryouts and see if you can move your body the next day when you wake up!

It is fake though. Taking a few bumps and working out hard doesn't mean wrestling is real, idiot. I hate morons like you who try to shove "wrestling is not fake" down people's throats. The funny thing is the top wrestlers never got over because of technical wrestling skills, but because they knew how to tell stories and get the crowd engaged. Watch Hogan vs Andre WM3. By no standard was the actual wrestling good, but they told a wonderful story because their characters were larger than life and interesting. I don't care how many flips you can do, that won't get you over.

All this work and emphasis on athleticism. Can you imagine legends like Dusty, Flair, even Hogan going through all this? They are legends to us because of their characters and mic work, how they got us excited with their promos. None of us growing up thought how spectacular athletes Ronnie Garvin or Tully Blanchard were. Yes, they were all good in their ways, but they captured our imaginations or skillfully made us hate them. If today’s WWE wants to push these great athletes on us with personalities of rocks, then that’s exactly why their ratings continue to tank. If we want great athleticism, we have NFL and UFC for that.

J Mizzy Albert or Giant Bernard in Japan was a very skilled worker in Japan he was just misuses by WWE as usual. Wtf was the point of putting Japanese tattoos all over him when he was an American that went to Japan ? Vince was recycling gimmicks again because that was Hakushi in the early 90s. Then they made him a comedy act with a guy who was known to be one of the worst in ring performers Brodus Clay. When people fail im the WWE 9 times out of 10 its WWEs creative, writers, and Vince himself that are at fault. Think theyd admit that ? No way.

We're here supporting you buddy. I'm an American Professional Wrestler in my grandfathers business, we have a few training facilities if you want to stop by and get a session in. I'll let you go free for the first 4 weeks to see if you can handle it and go from there, we can shape you into a great wrestler and our business is connected with WWE, so if they are searching, they'll pass through us to look for future superstars to train. I'm just a wrestler in it though, my grandfather passed and my father owns it now. He will pass it onto me when he passes. It's a family thing, only handed down to the men but I'll hand it down to my daughter to break that sexist tradition. Anyway, hit me up on my KZread Inbox if you're interested buddy. (PS: I have worked with 4 WWE Superstars before, check out the about section on my KZread Channel to see who they were). Regards, Douglas Brown.

Did this 10 years ago at 19 in FCW and failed, life hit me hard with personal issues, family deaths, etc... I plan on trying 1 last time in 2-3 years, I don't wanna rush preparing for this... With only 1 chance left before I'll be too old, it can't be wasted...

God, I wish I could watch Sara Del Rey wrestle again. One of the best female wrestlers I've ever seen perform. I'm glad she has a secure job after being on the indies for so long...

When they say fake they mean pre-scripted I would think. Takes talent to do what they do for sure

The sweat, drive, and hard work is real. But it's still just an entertaining scripted tv show.

Tyrone, the giants didn't have to go through all of that, but thy did some heavy lifting for sure. And while WWE is scripted and planned, it takes a ton of work and talent to pull off what these guys pull off.

I once considered being a wrestler for a long time, but I'm not sure that I could go through everything they do. The intense training and rehearsing is one thing, but then you also spend lot's of time away from loved ones, deal with backstage politics and of course the critics who look down on your profession for no apparent reason other than to stupidly point out that it's fake as if that make's them smart and if it's not fake it's broadcasting too much violence that kids could imitate.

I can deal with all of that, but being away from the family and the endless travel while not having a permanent base for the rest of your working life? Forget about it, its not all about the money and fame.
