This is the 2nd part of the series of Resident Evil 2 Gmod Edition maps that were ported over to gmod via a steam workshop addon I found containing said maps with all it's working assets such as puzzles etc, triggers for zombies as well as using a brand new Npc spawner mod I just found Cuta's simple npc spawner... to allow Resident Evil VJ base snpcs and Drg base nextbots to also dynamically spawn around the player as well.
This results in a lot of troubles for the player as they solve puzzles to escape the R.P.D Police station... with a intimidating tall foe, the tyrant, Mr.X following in the halls with a determination to kill Leon... as well plenty of Zombies and B.O.W's to make Leon's journey as a new officer on the job incredibly confusing, dangerous and even terrifying.
These fights with these Resident Evil monsters in the R.P.D are far more dynamic and modernized, faster paced compared to old Resident Evil, yet still feels fairly true to the universe in it's style and weaponry, just more tactical and realistic and grounded, a mature & brutal depiction of Resident Evil 2 via a Gmod realism mod setup around the idea of Survival Horror made Tactical like that of Ready Or Not including functions such as various mods of breaching, kicking down doors and melee as well as voice commands from the respective model I am playing as whilst also having Resident Evil elements like the RE2 Inventory mod or EKG health HUD mod. Keeping the Hud minimalistic and no crosshair. RE2 Inventory screen mod tells you your ammo, health, armour ratings to a number. A combination of first person and third person camera perspective can be used at will thanks to enhanced third person mod which creates a better experience with third person in general.
Like other Gmod realism videos you seen of mine or others, a lot of mods are at play to make this all happen.
This took me a solid 4 hours to edit and a lot of passion and effort to create a 1 hour video. Enjoy! It's awesome to see this series come to life. This is a passion project.
