Nice video. I was told to watch it to help install a wiring harness like you are installing that I was told would fix the missing features on my mirrors. I’ve installed the mirrors on my 2021 Silverado. They work with the spot, cargo & defrost missing. I was told by the place I purchased the mirrors, that this harness would fix that. Is this true?

This should not be needed on a 2021 Silverado. Give our team a call at 765-831-2830 - we certainly have what you need but it's best to direct you to it based on your VIN.

Great video! Do you know if they are available with the side blind zone alert light? I just wish someone would create a mounting plate/adapter so the 2500 tow mirrors with the side blind zone alert could mount to the 2019+ 1500’s. The 2500 door mount is slightly different that the 1500’s.

@@boostautoparts I have a 2019 (with blind spot and task lights) and want to buy some tow mirrors with blind spot and power folding. Do you guys think you will be having a harness for this in the future?

I made my own. Bought oem factory mirrors. Purchased the glass from boost auto parts with signal on glass with the blind side alert. Then made a harness that plugged into the light on mirror and then into the door harness. Simple 2 wire harness. Terminal 4 was the power/signal and and then the other wire just got connected to ground. Very simple. Surprised nobody has created this mini harness yet

Went to start wiring my 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 and seems like every spot that I needed to connect the wire in is occupied. Seems like I just needed the modified door module up to the mirror connector. Do I still need to connect the relays to the bcm? May sound like a dumb question but I’m a bit confused, thank you

The RZY (this video) is not applicable to a 2021 - you should just need the modify kit. Give our team a call with questions at 765-831-2830; they are standing by ready to assist.

With this harness, do the cargo lights turn on when the truck is put into reverse

Not by default. You would also need to install our cargo in reverse harness.

So, can I just buy this harness and get most features to work? I just want the turn signal/running lights to work and the 2 small LED spotlights.

This, in combination with the modify door harness is what is needed for the features you outlined on a 2019. If 2020+, just the modify is needed.

So if I have the optional tow mirrors from the dealer in my 2019, would this wiring harness work for it? Or would I need to purchase the tow mirrors from your site ?

This harness will get OEM towing mirrors working on a 2019, when used in conjunction with our modify door harness kit.

@@isaachernandez7472 Not automatically, but we do have a reverse/cargo mod that will achieve that.

If I don’t have puddle lights on my current standard mirrors (just task lights) but the tow mirrors I am buying have puddle lights can I get the puddle lights to work?

Puddle lights refer to the lights on the bottom side of the mirror that illuminate when the truck is unlocked at night with the key fob. OEM towing mirrors for the 1500 trucks are not equipped with puddle lights, therefore we do not offer support for them.

So on my 21' Elevation, similar to the guy with the 20' Rst, I would just need this harness for the tow mirrors?

So to get this straight, I have a 2019 trailboss. Power mirrors but No spot light. I need the RZY harness and modify door harness(with out spot light) for oem tow mirrors to work fully? Will this still work if I have an aftermarket tow mirror like Spec-D or do I need OEM.

Most other aftermarket towing mirrors are wired wrong so we always recommend OEM or Boost Auto mirrors (will be released very soon). 2019 trailboss requires RZY+Modify.
