Pretty cool upgrade, I'd love to get it for my 21 RST but $750 seems pretty steep for reprogramming a module in my opinion. For that money I'll just keep using android auto for nav.

Hey there, the pricing in the link I provided in the description, is for a full kit that includes a Brand New Radio Module. This adds Wireless CarPlay (WCP), Wireless Android Auto (WAA), HD Radio, and Navigation for pre 2021 trucks. My truck already has WCP, WAA. The cost is under $300 for adding Navigation to any 2019 - 2021 truck. Sorry for the confusion. I updated the link to the correct product.

Wow. Im super stoked! We bought a new 2021 Chevy Silverado and have been wanting to trade it in over this navigation system. To only have sirus xm (nothing against them) is a deal breaker. If your truck is am extension of your office, making calls and driving to multiple jobsites, you have to have the ability to navigate while on the phone. Can't wait to give this a try, thanks so much! Saved us from trading it in. I was also looking at another new vehicle (2nd vehicle) that I previously thought was a no go over this navigation issue so that could be an option. Why these manufacturers don't get this is perplexing. 🤔

Phil -is it possible to add fifth wheel camera on the rear cab light to these trucks?

Can I just get the compass to be enabled? I got the RST 2020 and it doesn't have that in the dashboard, as for nav i'll be using my mobile google maps..

I’ve upgraded my gauge cluster to the high country one and I’ve added factory navigation i still can figure out how to get the speed signs to work on my cluster

Doesnt work for an IOR, only and IOS+, wonder if i could add an IOS+ module?

Same here wonder why they can’t make an upgrade for an IOR unit, I’ve been looking at different websites and there’s practically nothing you can add or upgrade with this unit.

Do you know which connector is for the Sirius XM and if there is a second connector for Onstar? Not sure if a single cable comes from the shark antenna or if there are two. Why asking? Because I carry a camper on my 2022 Silverado 2500 HD, I lose the Sirius XM signal whenever I turn to the north. So, following some web guidance I want to install another Sirius XM antenna on the front of my truck so its not blocked by the camper (hopefully). If both services are supported on the same cable, I'd have to get a FAKRA splitter. Speaking of FAKRA connectors, I hope that is what Chevy is still using.

In my 2021 the connector is in the driver's side a pillar. Got a $7 antenna, connected and a magnet holds it on the hood at the very front of the truck.

Where are you located? I have an 18 Silverado LT 1500 Double Cab am interested in doing instrument panel and navigation

I am unsure on that.

i have a 2019 that came with the navigation, and it causes the truck to crash constantly! how do i REMOVE the navigation system from my truck to stop the crashing?

IOR, IOS, IOT are all radio system types. Scan the QR code on the driver door B-Pillar to see what you have.

This is confusing I have watched 3 different videos for three different companies on the same trucks and they are all different in how you install the Navi.

My truck didn’t have factory NAV. I worked with WAMS (WWW.WhiteAutoandMedia.com) and determined the needs of my truck build to be able to add it. Not sure what other companies are offering, but WAMS uses the approach of following how it would have been done by GM.

Nowadays you dont need factory navigation

This is true… but some do like the option of NAV via SAT vs phone, especially for those in remote areas.
