Your key has to be in the ignition is it on or off

whatever he did it worked but what did he do ? I couldn't tell.

No me funciona un botón. De seguro y no puedo programar cres k eso afecte

did you leave the key in the ON position or OFF.

La primera vez abre switch para más seguro. Después puenteas pin 4 & 8 del puerto OBD. Hasta que escuches que bajan y suben los seguros procedes a programar el control. (Bloqueo y desbloqueo al mismo tiempo). The first time open switch for more secure. Then you jumper pin 4 & 8 of the OBD port. Until you hear the insurance go down and up, you proceed to program the control. (Lock and unlock at the same time).
