Glycine actually changed their logo before the Invicta buyout. Other differences between the old version and new version include: New version has 1mm longer minute hand New version has an outline on the date window New version removed the little lume marker on the 3 o clock position (to the right of the date window) New version doesn't have drilled through lug holes There seems to be 3 versions of the goldeneye, the old version, a middle version which has various parts mixed (like drilled through lug holes with a lume marker to the right of the date window), and the new version with the changes that I listed above.

Looks like the (used but very good condition) one I ordered is the new version :-) Does the pvd coating hold up well?

I was convinced my one was fake until I seen these comments saying there are several versions of the golden eye. I have the normal gold color and I was seeing picsof some with ruby gold and a darker bezel insert

i just received mine today , i have the golden brownish bezel , i have the 224 movement , i have an outline by the date like you , but my bezel is much browner than yours , the only thing is that the band is very stiff i find , what do you think ?

mlb shark: the 224 movement IS the ETA 2824, just named by glycine different. I’ve also found some Golden Eyes with this brownish bezel. Seems like a interim model but I asked Glycine. If I’ll get a reply, I’ll send you an update. The canvas strap is quite stiff and sorry to tell, it will remain like this. It will adopt to your wrist, but it will stay stiff

Hi, you can recognize it from the photos in the offer. The brownish bezel is much easier to get. I haven’t seen the golden one for a long time now
