Looks great, any reason you didn't put a layer of glass over the foam for extra protection?

Was always going to use so much glue that it’s not a concern for water getting in. The floor has 3 layers of glass over it and I don’t intended on screwing through it at all.

@@ADVENTURES_ADRIFT Yeah once I watched the video and saw the volume of glue I was happy, I made the original comment before that, cheers.

What’s the rough cost of the floor mate. Thermolite + all the glass and resin. I might have to to my floor in my 24 foot ranger and just want to know how much it’s going to sting.

Thermolite is about $500 a sheet, I used 3 for the floor. Resin I’d say 40-60kg worth depends on if you use vinyl or poly but say around $500-$1000.

Is there any reason you didn’t foam fill the front

I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with storage up there yet. There is more foam filling to be done up there though.

Did that model have a keel stringer ,did you cut it out to add the fuel tank of just make it flat floor

I cut the keel stringer out, I added extra glass to the keel and had at least 8 layers overlapped in the keel so it has plenty of longitudinal strength. I then put a false floor in and built the tank on top of that.

I’ve found that talc doesn’t work as a glue. It’s brittle and more of a filler then a glue. Cabosil is much better for glue

No no and no talc, talc takes on water bad choice, what the heck did you wipe over that thermo with hope not acetone that's a big no no glass won't stick to it
