Glue Napkins NO WRINKLES | No Plastic Wrap or Bags
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
How to glue napkins with NO WRINKLES! This quick tip shows you how to glue napkins with zero wrinkles and without using plastic wrap or plastic bags (which emit harmful fumes.)
Follow-up video testing different glues here: • Wrinkle Free Napkins F...
The technique can also be used with tissue paper, pattern paper, and fabric! I like to do do this with book pages and then turn them into ephemera for my junk journals - envelope, tags, and journal cards. I usually stitch around the edges to make sure things will continue to stay attached over time.
This is great for pages for your junk journals, pockets, journal cards, envelopes and more!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE NOTE
**Hot iron but NO STEAM.**
**Separate napkin to single layer**
*** Mod Podge or matte medium on one side of paper then apply napkin to the side with the glue.

I love this tip, last night i painted up some music paper, and dictionary pages with glue, then this afternoon i spent less than 15 minutes and i have a large stack of decopauge papers ready to go! This tip deserves it spelled out! Thanks For Sharing!!!
Genius! My sister and I were just saying that decoupaging napkins was no fun ... always tearing or too wrinkled ...and then this. It’s on the top of our list for our next project. Thank you for adding in the use of fabric. So excited.
This is so much better than using plastic wrap or bags! Thanks for all the demonstrations.
Hello Susan. I have just watched your channel after getting so many wrinkles in my work, and got straight to your instructions and IT WORKS Thank you so much. I have been making an ideas journal and its going in there today for future reference. Thank you

This is great. Thanks for the tip. I’m going to give this a try.

Excellent Susan 👍
Simply love this. What a fantastic idea. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you so much Susan, you’ve been recommended to me by Dee Doodle, and I’ve found this very useful and helpful. I’ve also subscribed and given you a thumbs up 👍 too.
Excellent tutorial, thank you, Susan.
Hi Susan, I absolutely love this idea because I’m not a big fan of wrinkled napkins and it seems to be the easiest way to get smooth napkins. I recently bought some 1950’s Harpers Bazaar magazines and found that the paper was too thin and fragile for glue sticks and wet glues took off some of the print so this will be perfect! Thank you for sharing. Hugs, Julie 🥰
This is wonderful Susan, Tfs
Fantastic! This is such a great discovery. Thank you! ♥️🌸
Omg! Genius! I can see this being my next addiction! Lol. I’ve done the cling wrap method before but your way looks much easier! Thanks for sharing! Hugs from across the Pond, Dee xox 😘
Best tip I have seen for a while, tried it yesterday, works fabulously. I will be using this a lot. Thank you

I think I have tried ironing with napkins long time ago, but totally forgot that. This is great tutorial Susan, so I as napkin lover will use this way for sure. Thank you for sharing.
Great idea and easy peasy! Much safer than adhering with plastic as well and more thorough than glue stick! Super less messy than decoupaging! TFS the inspiration and creativity!
OMG! Thank you so much for making this video and making this easy for my life. I never have good experience with a napkin and I don't like complicate the process. This is just perfect for me to try. thank YOU!

WOW!! I have a new addiction!! :) I still struggle with layering. Paper, fabric, lace layers. Would love your take on it.... If you have already done a video on that. I can go back and watch it or if you want to do a new one... Hugs!!
Awesome! I tried the plastic wrap and wondered the whole time if I was breathing toxic fumes! I like this idea better. Thanks!
Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks a million for sharing
Thank you SO MUCH .... I've had modge podge for years but the humidity here in Queensland (Australia) makes it impossible to use because of the 'sticky' finish ... now I can finally get some use out of it! BRILLIANT.
worked like a charm!!v fast,hassle free no.mess!Thk.u so.much dear Susan!
Like this idea! I'm going to have to give it a try! Thank you!
Great tips! Love what you have done here, tfs
What a great idea, I was never a fan of melting plastic wrap either! And I have so much mod podge to use up because I brought some every time it was on sale then I used it on my art journaling and all the pages stuck together so I gave up on it. Thanks for finding a useful way to use it.
This is marvellous- thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this Susan! I hate the wrinkles and tears 😭 I get with the decoupage method and will be giving this a go. Great tutorial 💕
very cool, this is a must try!!!
You are so creative! Thank you for sharing Well done honey!
Awesome idea, thank you for sharing your genius idea with us.
Thank you for sharing this ingenious way to adhere napkins, tissue, etc wrinkle-free! Mine always end up wrinkled, I've used wet glue. Like you say, sometimes wrinkled is good, but sometimes you don't want the wrinkles. I can't wait to try this new method!
thank you so much for sharing this - love it!
Seems and looks like a very sensible way to do this , thank you will give it a try! just have to do something stash
I'm a "Nervous Nellie", too, when it comes to melting plastic so I never tried the plastic wrap...just watched the video out of curiosity. I will be doing your Mod Podge way! Thank you ❤
Great tutorial! I love working with napkins and I haven't tried this method.
WOW, great idea! Thanks
This is a fantastic tip!
Love this...gotta try!
Definitely gonna give this a go! Thank YOu!
What a great idea!! I have had uneven results with napkin wrinkles, and found out one reason just by accident that I got wrinkles. The napkin had 3 layers. I had tried and tried and finally decided there were only 2. Wrinkles! The next time I used that napkin, I finally got the 3 layers separated. and got great results. SO I will be remembering that lesson. Great idea, Susan, love your videos!! Thanks
This is awesome! I want to try this! tfs! I love your videos!
Thank you so much Susan. I desperately wanted to decoupage napkin onto some pockets last night but decided against it because the messy wet method did not appeal to me. I am so glad I saw this video before I substituted the pocket deco. I am off to paint some pages with the Mod Podge. Hugs xx
This is AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for sharing! Hugs!

Hi Susan, This is a wonderful method. I have never done the plastic wrap method because of the toxicity plus plastic bags hopefully will be eliminated eventually. I have used the parchment (we call it baking paper and it is silicone coated) for ironing , not so much to protect my iron because it's already gunked up, but to protect the fabric or paper I'm ironing. lol. A good way of using up a few more of those book pages. This would also make a good book cover fabric if you have a large enough book pages. It would be similar to the book cover fabric you can buy. xoxo
Just fund you and LOVE this method! I also am leafy of plastics, wraps doing this. Unhealthy and toxic. I think it's being smart. Thank you!!
Good job! I’ll try this
This is genius! I don't mind doing the plastic wrap method, but this seems even easier
Way Cool! TFS!
You are a genius so much better than all the gluing
Thanks for the tutorial!!❤️ I struggle with getting the napkin or tissue to be wrinkle free. Planning to try this tomorrow. I do agree with not using plastic, too many toxins.
Awesome tip. I had to stop half-way of the video and mod podge some dictionary pages. Can't wait until they dry so I can give this a try.
I like this a new method of attaching tissue paper and I like that it is so neat and no worries about the napkin ribbing either.TFS Hey I am just discovering you have other tutorials I may have to do some binge watching Take Care Hugs and Smiles
What??? So going to try this one!! What a genius you are ❤️
