For those of you just hearing my words now, ask yourself why he's using the effing 180grit wheel if he needs to be careful with the top of the stone? He's literally touching the stone to the wheel and it's taking 1 millimetre of stone off with every touch because the wheel he's on is too damn rough! Saw tons of potch/sand and got lazy on at least the first 4 minutes of this one, Justin. When you saw how touch and go the stone was, you should have backed off to a finer stone. I'm literally sitting here, clenching my jaw every time you touch the stone to the wheel because 5% of whatever stone was left is laying in the form of watery Stone Sludge on top of your fingers...just from each tiny little touch.

@Chris_Harris He's confident to use the 180-grit wheel because he's been doing this long enough to know exactly how much will be removed - and, exactly how much needs to be removed. He's a real pro. But I do understand the concern. It makes me a little nervous, too. 😊

Here's me - on disability benefits and the value of the gem is more than I get in a year - thinking: That is so cheap! Had you told me it was worth 18 Grand I'd have probably still thought it was cheap. I agree with a previous poster: This is my favourite stone yet, the value doesn't do the beauty justice. Thank you so much for sharing, truly magnificent!

Thank you for letting us watch! Gorgeous(!) gem. Diamonds are very pretty, but opals win my vote for most beautiful.
