trust the process perfume edition

I thought the same! I returned the bottle because I thought it had a strong alcohol/powdery scent, but now I know it's pink pepper... Glossier even wrote back to me explaining how the alcohol scent should wear off eventually, and because it's so heavy on the base notes (like musk) there aren't enough top notes to disguise it??

Glossier made You to smell a little different on everyones skin to be smelling like 'you'. That's why people react differently to the scent. But they did reformulate it and I first got mine as the reformation and I honestly really like it.

i personally love the glossier perfume on me, it smells like rich honey and clean 🧼

I just got mine today and on me it smells very floral with a hint of like cleanness and on my sister who tried it she full on smelled like an apple with a hint of green leaves! But when I smell it on the rollerball it smells like rubbing alcohol

i commented about this perfume on one of her other videos and i will say it again I LOVE THIS PERFUME it’s so subtle and floral it’s the perfect perfume

I have a West Indian friend and she says it smells spicy on her. Almost like Curry. So, I think since it enhances your natural smell, it may also play off of what comes through your pores from your diet. Just a theory. Mine smells sweet. But I eat candy constantly. LMAO! 😂

It could also be the top, middle and bottom notes. The pepper may come first, but once it moves past the pepper, the other notes may be to your liking.

i have it and it smells like very citrusy but like in the white stuff in an orange specifically. (in the bottle)

It smells like those Muslim uncles at the mosque to me. But I first heard of it when I smelled it on a pretty girl and had to know what it was. People love it on me too, and it reminds me of Friday prayers at the mosque so it’s endearing haha. Very Muslim smell

I couldn’t smell not one note in Sephora recently. Strange

i have the exact same problem and im also asian o.o to me it was just pepper and musk/amber i didnt get the floral top notes i didnt get any iris either but on some other ppl it is so much lighter and creamier than when i wear it. body chemistry Really plays a part in how perfumes end up smelling TT

Omg same 😂 I tried it in store at sephora and kept walking around to see what would happen. it smelled like straight up pepper and alcohol. Never been more embarrassed by a perfume in my life, which sucks because I REALLY wanted to like it.

I first got this as a sample and as soon as I put it on, my daughter asked for some. A few minutes later she was pissed because she said it smelled like grape medicine on her. It really does change with the chemistry.

Honestly my first impression of this was , how a Russian woman smells like 😅 . So unique and the smell you get when entering a cosmetic or Sephora😅

it melts into your skin scent and smells like you! for me it smells very musky like an earthier version of daisy by marc jacob’s, on my mom it smells like a floral. it definitely takes a few hours to melt in tho😅

It is weird. I smell it on the bottle and it’s stronger scent can’t say what notes but when I put that baby on ME omg it smells divine. It’s light and has floral I smell no pepper at all. I was scared I actually wasn’t going to like it since I don’t go for pepper smells like that but no I’m buying the bottle
