Gloryhammer has been new to my list as well, along with Beast In Black, Battle Beast, Powerwolf, Sabbaton. If you haven't already taken a look, highly recommended finding tons of stuff, from all those bands! Oh, and I'm fairly sure Gloryhammer is from the UK.

Thomas Winkler as Angus McFife. ... aka the glory days of Gloryhammer (they've parted ways... a long and rather sordid online discussion was had on the internet ... Thomas has been largely exonerated of any issues, iirc, and his voice will once again ride across the stage at a thousand euro-LARPfests and metal-gatherings in the new future. I hear his new project group has the moniker Angus McSix ... "one better than McFife?" Anyway, Thomas is also found as the highest note in Feuerschwanz' "Warriors of the World" cover. There is a really nice interview of him by Elizabeth of The Charismatic Voice at Bloodstock 2021 .. you should watch, just to listen to two vocal nerds converse in a festival tent about non-festival things. Good fun. Fun fact (tho totally non-useful) Thomas graduated as a Master of Law from University of Bern.

Another fun fact, the founder and keyboardist of the band is none other than Alestorm Frontman Christopher Bowes...

I feel this song should be played when you are standing on the edge of cliff, yellow blonde hair blowing in the wind. (In He-man style of course.) And silver boots. Standing with a flag with a giant unicorn head on it! 🤪

Unfortunately the lead singer here has since left the band :( A less known piece of info is that the pianist(?)/synth player aka evil wizard is the front man for Alestorm!

They were amazing, Sozos Michael took over last year, actually a week before I saw them the first time when they were on with Alestorm and he's great I think personally, more of a clearer or cleaner voice than Thomas but still quality, check out their first song with the new singer Fly away
