This group is such a blast of glorious, joyful power metal mixed with the cheesiest science fantasy. If you kind people in the comments don't know them, you should totally give them a try. Rise of the Chaos Wizards, Angus McFife and Hootsforce are good places to start, but I also suggest to listen to their three albums in order to enjoy their story and how the context influences their music. Good video!

Gloryhammer is the first band in my life who managed to make me really like every single song on all albums... Manowar was close ...

The Hootsman knows how to have a good time.

The morse code also said that the zargothrax clone was sent to 1022 or 1011 so Angus mcfife the second or third will probably fight him. Also they have 21 albums planned.

These guys are one my all time favourite bands, I just love everything about them, from their story, their sound, their presence, everything.

First there was ALESTORM, then Christopher Bowes created GloryHammer, now both bands are great on his own. And the keyboard is powerful and energetic as she explained... Chris really knows how to play it. GloryHammer and Twilight force are new bands that I really like and I follow them since I discovered them... I´m old and many the same age as me got stuck with 70´s and 80´s metal bands.. Not me.. As long as the music is good to me, then that is all I care.

I saw them live in Cologne last year and the Questlord actually succeeded, it was awesome to see that but also all the people waving inflatable Unicorns and swords in the air :D They definitely know how to put up a show

@@MetalAcademix Well, I wanted to crowd surf, but when I climbed up the fence, the security didn't like it and then the moment was gone. I got to meet the band afterwards and apologize. They understood. It was an honor to be chosen, though :)

The song that first got me into gloryhammer was hootsforce. I was listening to some windrose songs it in the comments people are talking about gloryhammer in whose first was in my recommended so I decided to give it a shot and I I liked it and now I'm listening to all their songs.

I came to find Windrose through their song "Diggy Diggy Hole", as I'm a fan of the Minecraft channel that wrote the original song. Hearing the preview of "Hootsforce" at the end of that music video led me there, which is how I got introduced to Gloryhammer. We walked the same path, though we started from different points.

My first was "Apocalypse 1992", I dont even remember, how I found that one, probably it just randomly poped up in YT mix and I loved it. Then I found "Hootsforce" in the end of "Diggy Diggy Hole" by Wind Rose and then I fell in love with GH music. :D

turns out the land of unicorns is a real place in a small town called Achnasheen which i finally found after listening to the song many times.

If you like so much keyboards on Metal, and of course Power Metal go with the masters Stratovarius. Black Diamond, Find your Own Voice Season of Change, Nemesis, Infinity, Anthem of the World My Eternal Dream: I will suggest that for keyboards, but they have so much I like your channel.

Valhallelullah everybody! is Gloryhammer influenced by Gamma Ray? The style in their music is quite similar in style when you have listened both bands. As Gloryhammer tells a story in each album, is somewhat different. Also, I remember a band... "Derdian" that tells a story, musically closer to Gloryhammer, but is more like a tale of castles and magic, than travels to space & time.

Gloryhammer members do not directly refer to Gamma Ray as an influence in interviews. There, they mention Iron Maiden, Rhapsody of Fire, Hammerfall, even Stratovarius. However, if you just listen to the music, Gamma Ray is definitely there. -Anamaria
