I’ve been running this CCW for years, and it’s surprisingly comfortable appendix carry

I just purchased this specific Glock last week. I absolutely love it! I am not a Glock "fan boy" by any means. However, for this being my official first Glock, I am happy I chose this particular model!

First Glock i bought was this one. Glock G45 mos. Absolutely love this gun.

Not a Glock fan, bought the 19x as a collection piece. I can’t put the thing down after shooting it. Smooth shooter and easily my favorite now.

What’s in your collection if you mind sharing

I was on the fence about buying a 19X when it came out because of the color (some employers won't allow anything but a black firearm). The 19X was the first Glock I shot that was comfortable to me due to no finger grooves. Then the 45 and out. I handled one while working at Sportsmans warehouse and knew I had to have it! I picked one up on the Blue Label program and absolutely love it. Took a little bit to adjust to it as I'm used to the M&P 2.0, Sig P226, and 1911. Once I put around 500 rounds through it, I was hooked. It's my dedicated duty carry. Just waiting to get some Ameriglo Hackathorn style sights and it will be perfect.

I bought the Glock 45 for my first firearm. I have big hands so having the 17 frame was a big plus.

Glock 45 is my favorite pistol, great balance in rapid fire.

Went in to get a 509 but been wanting a 45 forever ended up buying the g45 today can’t wait to try it I had a gen 4 17 and loved it so I think I’ll like this one even more it does have a smooth trigger

It's been 6 month's since I have had my G45! I am still enjoying it & I love how it shoots. I enjoy my gun so much, that I just purchased the MOS model. I can't wait to add the Holosun optic & trick it out to my specific needs! I currently have been using my first one for duty carry & EDC. I can honestly say, my money was well spent.

Love it. People complained Glock got it wrong and people wanted a longer slide with a G19 grip but you can carry it concealed. G17 size grip adds to stable shootability.

I’ve been searching for the best Glock to get for my first buy , I’m leaning towards this 45 model 👌

It's a great gun for sure, but so are other Glock models. But if you don't have one and are planning to buy one, this is as good as you can want. Especially if you want to get one already cut for an RMR sight, or one that comes with either Glock Night Sights, or Ameriglo Night Sights. Quite a few options.

I had a Glock 17 Gen 5 for my first pistol ever it recently got stolen now i have a 45 Gen 5

I got the Glock 19X and I love it. I got the Glock 45 mos 2 days ago because I wanted the same feel as the 19X but I wanted to mount an optic. I didn’t want to permanently alter my numbers matching 19X slide.

I picked G45 over the gen 5 G19. Very glad I did. Much better design (front serrations, no pinky shreader on the mag well) and much easier to get a firm grip on the draw.

First gun ever purchased, don't regret it one bit

I carry a 19x on duty and right now I carry it edc in a tier1 axis holster that has an extra mag. I love it so much that I’m going to get the Glock 45 for a edc so I don’t have to switch my duty gun in and out.

My wife loves it! I got the g19 mos, so hers will get a reddot soon. Same as yours, opposite color scheme.

I was torn between the Glock 17 Gen 5 and the Glock 45. The slide size difference was only like half an inch. Ended up just getting the Glock 17. Although keep in mind I did have more of a duty pistol role in mind for armed security/bounty hunting. But the 17 wouldn't be bad for CCW either. The Glock 45 is pretty nice though. Tbh I did have a HK VP9 on order but it was taking too long unfortunately.

I started my gun-life out at a staunch 1911 guy hating all glocks. I then started doing some VERY basic gunsmithing on rifles like the SKS and a Bulgy AKM/74. As my enthusiasm grew and gun store inventory dwindled, I picked up my first Glock- a Gen3 30 and fell in love. Fast forward to today and I've had around 18 various glocks, none of which i loved more than the 19X....until the 45 came out. Finally got my 45 MOS with a Nightstick 850xls, Trijicon RM08-G and my own (well-practiced) stippling. Hands down most favorite gun and I am far more comfortable and capable with it than anything else. I will say that the Gen5 "marksman" barrel is essentially just made a tiny bit bigger in a few dimensions to tighten lockup a bit but it's going to largely be negligible for 99.5% of shooters. I'm not a big dude so IWB/AIWB carry is difficult with longer slides. But I like to have a larger grip surface and higher capacity so this gun is perfect for me. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this except for very specific size constraints.

On Black Friday my primary EDC Glock 19X loaded with a 19-round mag replaced my used to be primary Gen. 5 G19...with TruGlo night sights. But since I always carried the G19 loaded with a 17-rounder and X-Grip spacer......I actually own a Glock 45, too.😏 Both shoot very well...slight edge to the 19X; a little tighter shot groupings in my experience.

I have carried the Glock 17 for years never a 19 due to my man sized hands. The 45 is absolutely perfect for me fits my hand well and I have the shorter barrel .

I am about 5 foot 8 and I carry this appendix with comfort, yet it does slightly print. You can stand in such a way to make it not noticeable but walking up to a store or just outside in the wind, you’re printing almost like you’re doing it on purpose unless you have a button shirt or jacket. I don’t personally like to carry on the hip or back and can draw much faster, on target and with a better shooting grip from appendix than any other way. I also prefer the control I have over it and the fact I’m alway “watching it” in front of me is very comforting rather than hanging it behind me like a truck stop eyesore

I own the 19x and have put just about a little over three thousand rounds since July. I'm a small frame guy and it is my EDC. I do plan on buying the g45 and have that as my training gun and cut the slide for a RMR. It is an amazing gun that runs well no matter what the situation and the Gen 5 trigger and barrel are just added bonuses

How easy is full concealment. Do you have an issue with printing? Im in South Africa and laws are very strict with concealment and im looking to purchase the Glock 45

I have the 45 and 19x. Basically same gun, but like fde color. Only 9mm I own, love them both. Never sell.

I got mine when they first came out, haven’t had one complaint!

I have the m&p shield subcompact, easy to conceal. I just recently bought the g45 and now looking into holsters. I’m more on the slim side, I’m wondering if the g45 needs to be carried OWB 🤔

Lot of haters here. I bought one and conceal carry it with no prob in an appendix carry. It’s a great gun! Full mag capacity and still concealable, I’m a happy guy. Take it easy on the dude in the video, putting yourself out there isn’t easy to do especially with all you keyboard commandos bitching about every little detail.

Initially hated on the Gen 5. This has made me a believer. It shoots so nice. But my finish sucks a little

All these videos area the same but yet i still watch them because how much i love the Glock 45. I have the MOS with an Apex Tactical trigger, Taran Tactical 3.25lb trigger sping set and a Taran Tactical +6rd mag extension. Only thing left is to get an RMR and a light. Best Glock theyve released hands down.

You may be able to carry at 2 O'clock with the shorter slide. I carry at 3 with a IWB Crossbred holster and leave my shirt tail out and no one knows I'm carrying.Check Mrgunsandgear channel, he addresses this as well.

Protect& Provide imo its big but idk if id say its huge im 5’9 and 150 lbs and i can hide it easy but tbh i wear mainly joggers sweat pants and shorts so that does help to hide it id assume with white house pants aka jeans (called white house pants bc theirs no ball room in the white house) it would be much harder to hide but from my experience its not to bad but i am on the crazier side and used to edc a glock 17 until they made the 19x and now the 45 bc i wanted the extra capacity and grip for my big hands so its a lot easier to carry and hide but most people definitely arent like me so id pry get the 43x i believe whatever one has the aftermarket mags that hold as much as the full size g19 i was thinking about grabbing one of them myself to have as a truck gun just throw it in the glove box lock it and forget about it

Is it truly a G17 frame exactly? 100%? I can't find any 3rd party accessories that for sure say they will work with a G45 but obviously a ton that work with a G17

Ive had the Glock 19 for about 2 years now and it is comfortable but you really can’t beat the Glock 45. It’s my everyday carry and I wouldn’t have it any other way

I have a Glock 43X. Carried it for about a year. Im selling it tnite and buying a glock 45 for carry. I have big hands. Just like idea of the bigger gun. I will deal with figuring out how to conceal it better

Definitely my favorite pistol rn 💯 I edc it with no problem & I’m a “bigger” guy myself. I don’t understand the whole mystery behind appendix carry. And I don’t have a $100 plus holster to accommodate the G45 lol

I've shot many different hand guns in my life and I just shoot Glocks a little bit better than other brands. Maybe because that's what I've trained with the most . I currently own a G19, G26, G43x, and just ordered a new G45 ...I'm second guessing my decision on this G45 ....I'm hoping I like it

EA sucks most of the accessories that fit a Glock 19 will fit the 45. Just think, it’s got the same exact slide as a 19 minus the front serrations. That goes for holsters as well

i love the glock 45

Have never really liked them. I have an issue with the grip. I carry an M&P 45. and have always made fun of my little brother because he buys a new Glock every weekend it seems. And it's alway been the next and greatest Glock. However, recently I did purchase a Glock 45. I bought it to go inside a MCK. And that is where it lives. Magazines come in larger capacity and are cheaper. I put a 3.25# trigger in it and it works great.

My body type, I can do a Glock 19 frame or smaller. I think I could find a job for this gun that's not EDC. I can always use another Glock. Good video.

When you start talking politic or guns, you realize just how damn stupid people are. I purchased this Glock when it first came out, put about 2000 rounds through it, love it. Best Glock I ever had in my opinion. A lot of people on here that think they know what they are talking about, but they have no clue.

@Komrade Banana since he probably didn’t see your question. I’ve been carrying mine for just over a year. I simply swapped the sights when I bought it and have been in love since. I went from a 19 to the 45, if you can conceal the 19 you’ll conceal this just fine.

I wanted to shoot one first to see if it was any different from my other Glock pistols. So I found a local indoor shooting range that had one to rent and put a couple hundred rounds through one today. I have to say that even though I did like it, I really couldn't see any major differences between this new model and my other Glock pistols. It was accurate, but then so are my other Glocks. I don't currently carry any of my other Glocks, and wouldn't carry this one either. I prefer my Sig P320 or my Sig P365, or even my H&K USP Compact.

I love my glock 19x. The regular 19 is nice as well, but with my gorilla hands I can get a better purchase on the grip on 19x due to a 17 frame.

Let me guess dedicated press checker because you cant remember if your gun is loaded and two it make you cool like you in a fire fight in Afcrapstan

Own both 19x shoots better for me.
