Hey Terry love you're vids. Im sure you havw tried more variety of ammo than me when it comes to both calibers but i gotta recommend fortscott munitions 124 grain tumble upon impact. For the 10mm. That out of a g29 is why it got the nickname Thor's Hammer.

You won't regret it. I just got mine a couple weeks ago, couple hundred rounds thru it thus far, flawless and easy to carry and shoot. Watch Terry B's videos on the 30s, he knows it well.

@@TerryBenton I agree, best Glock ever made and probably also the best .45auto ever made. Not the easiest to handle though, it's not for the recoil sensitive.

The G30s has been my edc for several years. Shoots soft and hides well.

You can swap the frames on those and also the trigger housing to have the appropriate ejector for each caliber. 10mm is not good for bear, the 255gr hardcast will take care of a bear with a single shot. Elmer Keith proved that a 255gr .452 hardcast going 1000fps will drop anything in North America with a single center mass shot. Underwood 45super gets you that. It's 16TKO compared to 13TKO max with any 10mm. Using a 45colt revolver, he waited till a charging grizzly bear was almost on him when he took a single shot that brought the bear down at his feet. From a revolver the 255gr is doing 900fps max, that's just +P velocity in the G30/30S.

No but with the velocity the 10 mm would punch through barriers like car doors windshields better than the 45 AC because it's moving faster come on man
