    Never really been a Glock enthusiast, even though I have two of them. But those 10mm's are tempting. I've got one of the Holosun SCS' for my M&P9. I'm really impressed with how well it works. Had it for not quite a year, and it's been pretty great. Nice and low profile, and hasn't really needed a charge yet. I just left it on the windowsill one afternoon for a couple of hours once to charge. I mostly use mine with the 32 MOA circle only. Not as precise as the dot, but it's easier to see the target and accurate enough at about 50 yards (the max range I've shot it at so far) for center of mass hits. It helps that with the SCS on an OR M&P, the dot sits just at the top of the front sight for a cowitness, which makes the front sight post sit just under the middle of the 32 MOA circle. Pretty fast to acquire, even though the optic window is a little cluttered.

  • @livennick9

    @livennick9

    5 ай бұрын

    Heck yah man. I like it a lot. I have an astigmatism so the small dot looks like a freaken giant star I’m my eyes on all optic’s except eotech for whatever reason. That’s the main reason eotechs are on most my cqb rifles and carbines. Sucks but it is what it is I guess. Could be worse. If you’re not big on Glocks but like 10s and smith (which the shield plus is my daily carry) you should check out the S&W m&p 10mm. They are top notch for sure. Especially the compact. Thanks for watching bud.

    Still have my Glock 29 from 2003, it took a beating and keeps on going. Initially I used CorBon and Winchester SilverTips. I discovered Buffalo Bore and Double Tap a year or two later, later contact Mike Willard as he developing bear loads for 10mm and stumble onto Kevin Underwood as he getting into loading. The G29 took all loads, some were very hot and it kept going. The 9x25 Dillon is a fun round, Mike McNett introduce that caliber to me back in the mid 2000's. I remember from sales person to other firearms people telling me not to get a 10mm because the caliber was going away.

    Thank you bud. I appreciate that. The 29 is an excellent pistol. All around, especially when you have a 20 because of the mag swaps but I will say the 30 shoots like a full size 45. It’s always been an amazing pistol ever since they released it back in 97. I know this doesn’t help you at all with your decision but it’s all true. 😆 sorry.

    Man they are definitely excellent pistols. I will say it is more my carry piece when I’m hopping ponds, running creeks, or on the quad. My edc is a shield plus. I do carry the 29 around town some though. It’s just a bit thick for summer carry around here though. For the size of the 29 if you want a ton of power and reliability it’s definitely the one to choose. Thanks for watching man.
