GLOCK 17MOS Gen 5 with RMR...…..what nobody tells you is needed.

Спорт

Quick preview of how to instal an RMR on your GLOCK MOS and the Trijicon Plate you'll need that does not come with pistol (TRIJICON AC32064). Holosun507 shares the same footprint as RMR so either optic will fit.

THANK you for showing proper gun safety. You didn't make a "big" thing about it - it seemed natural and something you normally do. But for everyone it should be a "BIG" thing. ALWAYS proper gun safety - regardless.

I'm putting together the same gun for competition but with the C&H Precision plate (rear-sight-forward version) that kills the rear and back gaps and has extra/better posts to take the sheer stress off the screws; the newly released Holosun HS507C-X2 with the ACSS Vulcan Reticle (a very innovative red dot - worth a look); and the newly released Timney Alpha trigger which also looks amazing. ..I can't wait to beat a few of the comp guys who poo poo on Glocks as a competition gun! ..and no, I'm not trying to advertise these products! - they just look great from what I've seen and heard.

That said, I'd love to try out the RMR's and especially the Trijicon SRO for competition ..they're just soo pricey when compared with what you get from Holosun! Why did you end up going with the Holosun over the RMR for your Glock (just curious).

@@KanesTrades I had the EOTech version, 510 Elite with the Green Dot and i loved it. I only sold it because we can not use our AR's anymore. The RMR i have is the Fiber Optic one with 9 MOA dot. it works great but i find the dot is too big for target shooting at 10m. I prefer the 2 MOA dot of my holosun. Plus the F/O RMR is based on ambient light so it works great when i shoot outdoors, but my indoor club has terrible lighting so the dot is not as bright as i'd like. I suspect the RMR Type 2 models would be perfect but like you said, they are too pricey.

unless you have small hands, I'd say go with the 17. The 19 is a great carry guy which we can not do in Canada. I think for target shooting or IPSC the 17 is a better choice. Or you can look at the 19x which is the 19 frame with the 17 slide/barrel. You get the advantages of the smaller frame with the accuracy of a longer barrel and increased sight radius..........but that doesn't come in MOS configuration

G19 grip is plenty long enough for larger hands, so once again its just size for rd capacity and easier accuracy cuz the 17 has a longer slide. Both are excellent. G19 is the most popular handgun in the usa. I have owned one for years. Looking at getting a g17 now for a shtf side arm. I own about 7 or 8 glocks now lol but no g17 surprisingly.
