Just bought a ZP slide yesterday, I love it so far!

That ported ,crowned, barrel, matching slide with custom cuts for the ports woof. Thanks for posting cause this video was awesome,

Thank you for posting. After seeing the port work I was blown away. The way the slide ports are milled to match the barrel ports is reminiscent of Gemini Customs SP101 customization work but on a Ruger. I hope mine works out equally well.

No audio due to workplace restrictions. I'd like to point out that Zaffiri slides, holster into any holster the Glock does. The ported barrel and ported slide are specific. I have used a Live Free armory slide (with the ZP ported barre)l which has slide port reliefs that are similar however the lower profile ZP slides and matching ported barrel are dimensionally coincident. That means they intersect and compliment each other.

UPDATE: After I posted what's below I stumbled upon the owner's Facebook profile and messaged him about it. He apologized for my experience and offered a refund or replacement. I just received the replacement parts, and I’ve racked the slide a few dozen times as assembled on the frame and haven’t gotten it to stick. I'll move forward with the build, it’ll be a while before I can put any ammo through it and if it runs fine then all good. Mr. Zaffiri handled this well, and when I get to my G34 build I won't be disinclined to buy from him again. ORIGINAL POST: The G19 slide I got from Zaffiri had burrs left in the extractor depressor plunger bore that I had to remove, rough Cerakote overspray in the channel liner bore that I had to polish out before I could install a liner without destroying it, and a step milled inside the front of the slide that would catch on the corner of the logo shield that they’d milled into the hood of the barrel, causing the slide to stick full open during the normal range of motion of the parts. They refuse to do anything about it, instead telling me to fix it myself, take it to a gunsmith, and (best of all) that “not all aftermarket parts are compatible with each other and may require adjustments”; I suggest staying away from a company whose own parts that they ship together are incompatible with each other.

Hey, thx viewing and sub, subed you as well. Its a magazine extender, I dont remember the brand but should cost about 10-14 bucks and easy to iinstall. Lets you put two more rounds so there's 18 and one in the chamber. So total 19. Check with with your state and laws. Feel free to copy it my man. Good luck!

It looks like you're controlling the recoil very well. Can you notice a difference from the porting? Do you thing the porting helps at all?

Honestly I haven't noticed. I have another g17 thats all stock maybe one day ill take them both to do side by side comparison.

Go check out park mountain machine. They have real time data showing the benefits of ports and comps. They are able to put numbers on paper which is really nice to see

So for the zaffiri slides, you don’t need to buy the glock mos mounting plate? Just the thin trijicon sealing plate?

Jerick Sanchez nope didn’t need it. On the slide it self is a plate but I removed it and dropped in the rmr perfectly.

Quick question about this did you feel like it helped with recoil control? Like if the ported barrel worked almost as a compensator..?

Honestly no, but I havent done a side by side comparison to tell the difference.

Does this package reduce recoil noticeably? Is it hard to focus on a target with flames coming out the top of barrel?

Did you change the recoil spring?

I want to know have your front sights gotten dirty from the side ports and if so would say a lot or alittle because I’m wanting side ports but could do with out cleaning my front sight every time

Not really. I just wipe it down. It does however get pretty dirty inside the slide by the muzzle.

Did you need a mounting plate for the rmr? If so what plate did you use? I have a ZP slide that RMR cut

When I bought the slide it already had the cut for the RMR. I believe they sell other slides for different red dots, id recommending checking with the manufacturer .

Christopher Negus so far over 500 rds shot and I’ve not issues and accuracy has been spot on. Keeping it clean has been an issue it’s about it nothing major

Mine definitely doesnt look like it did when I bought it. You can see a little wear but its expected after 1000 rounds through it now.

What size of screws did you use for the rmr?

Honestly I’m not sure ZP supplied the screws for the RMR. They should have specifics.

I believe so. I have a custom QVO Tactical holster with tlr6 made for the G17 and I also have a Safariland holster that works perfectly.

What cerakote color is the slight? I was thinking about the same setup for my glock 19.

The Real Dank Jr sorry for the late response. Yes I believe u have to buy the parts kit. At the gun show they included it with the side and barrel.

Why does mine not feed proper like the bullet won’t go in barrel right and on its ejector part

U know I had a similar problem in the beginning. I kept cleaning oiling it and the more I shot it the less issues. The owner told me to make sure that was done in the beginning. Now it shoots perfect. No issues and cycles with no jams or other issues.

They included all the parts internally for the slide at the show I got it at. I ended up using the stock slide and barrel with a new bottom assembly to make another g17.

The slide should be, if you order the kit offline it's assembled for you, you have to clamp file and use the JIGtool to build the frame out, and use the internal parts kits included with the kit, to finish it off

im not sure a g17 glide will work for a g22 but reach out to ZP and ask, im sure they will know for sure.

Im pretty sure they sell sights you can put on it, but when I bought mine it was just the slide and barrel. They have a couple of options for different sights. I chose the one for the RMR.

Great review. Never buy a "Rock" slide. Total junk. I have had two of them and had to send both back for refund.
