Great images Rob. Globular clusters are impressive objects to view. I was observing last night (into morning) and viewed a few of the same globular clusters, until the inevitable high-cloud stopped play 🙂 I moved from visual observing to EAA a few years ago. Wow! What a difference a camera makes to observing. I always enjoy watching your videos, keep up the great work.

Thank you Peter. Yes they look great in a telescope and quality eyepeice. Unfortunately my eyes are not the best now in low light and EAA is a great option nowadays. Thanks foe watching. Clear skies.

Great images Rob and nice to have some background info on them as well. It's a pity that our generation will never know if we get a reply or not (however unlikely that is). Any planet orbiting a star in these clusters must have a pretty spectacular view!

Thanks Peter. It would be nice to think that. It reminds me of the Isaac Asimov's story Nightfall. A planet in a system with six suns and once eyery x amount of years all the suns set revealing they live in a gobular cluster. Unfortunately the civilisation loses its collective mind when it happens!. A great read. Clear skies.

Great video and tiki tour through some globular clusters. Nice to see them getting some asto love as they don't often feature in videos. Got some excellent star colours and definition there. CS

Thanks Logan. Yes they do get overlooked and its nice to look at something different and very old. Not like when i look in the mirror lol. Clear skies bud.

I do rather like a globular cluster although I've only ever imaged M13 lol, I'll have to get back to them someday, clear skies!!
