I always enjoy these distillery visits. They're absolutely packed with information and history. Keep up the great work, guys!
just beautifull
Nice job Ben. Stocking up on the GG 21 year old. Best value for money!
What a great tour! Thank you presenting and sharing this with us. Makes me want to visit Scotland. Cheers!
Thanks for the tour Ben. One of my favorite distilleries. The 21 & 25 YO bottlings are spectacular.
I've passed this distillery many times on my travels to the west coast of Scotland. It's only recently since I've started my single malt journey that I've taken an interest in the history of the product. Can't believe this distillery was so close to my hometown and now I live in Germany it's so far away! Another great presentation Ben, well done.
Thank you featuring this distillery sir. You said it right in two words. FRESH & FRUITY. Glengoyne 10 & 12 are great meal openers. That floral ecstasy on the nose and that lightness and fruity on the taste.
Very good video" We did the West Highland Way last year in May, and on the way to Drymen, we saw the distillery some 500 meters away. Later, our first Glengoyne was savored in Drymen at The Clachan Inn, which offered a whiskey menu as varied and rich as that of wines in a Parisian restaurant. Our choice stopped on a Glengoyne 15 years which delighted us. The distillery, however, was behind us as our path went north. A suggestion to those who will do the WHW and who plan to visit at least one distillery. The first portion of the WHW leading to Drymen is done quickly and you will have ample time to spend 1-2 hours to visit this beautiful establishment.
Absolutely stunning footage
Enjoyed this. Thanks.
Well done! Excellent information. Thank you.
What an awesome documentary. Good job bro.
Ben I have to tell you this is the best whiskey production video I have personally seen . I was drinking Glengoyne Cask Strength while I was watching but was surprised it was not shown as part of their product line. Your father should be very proud of you becoming part of the family reviews....Perfect and thank you much...Slainte!

@@ChrisPBacon-mo9ln The spelling of whisky is an interesting historical footnote in the evolution of the world’s whisky industry. Whether spelled with an e or without, it remains one of the world’s favorite drinks. Sláinte
Love these distillery visit videos! Keep it up!
Great and highly informative video and I must add that as an English teacher I find your understanding of the language very solid! Keep up the good work!
What a great coincidence - we also went to Glengoyne just a few weeks ago as our very first distillery visit ever. Great first distillery tour to be had
Well done, lovely distillery and people. Great line-up

PS. ALERT. Be careful crossing that road!!
Great tour Ben, I love Glengoyne whisky and visited the distillery in March my favourites are the Teapot dram and the 21 year old also got a bottle of the pour your own bottling. LOL don't forget to brush your hair properly next review. Hope you bought the Teapot dram for yourself it's really good.

Just bought my first bottle of 10 year and really enjoying watching the tour while sipping on a dram. Great job Ben.
Glengoyne really makes good whisky. The 10 year old is a staple. Really well-made. I just wished they made it 46% and fully unchill-filtered! Come on Glengoyne, get on with it! The sooner the better!
powerful old man
Glengoyle For the best of times.
The Queen Mother was the mother of Queen Elizabeth II, and wife of King George VI, she was called Queen Elizabeth while King George VI was king, because she was a Queen Consort, that is, the King's wife, not the Queen by her own right. She was not Queen Elizabeth I. Queen Elizabeth I was a monarch in Shakespeare's time.
I had the tour and made my own composition.
Just one small correction. The Queen mother was never a monarch.
Gibts das Video auch auf deutsch Ben ?
Awesome video. Love that you and your father do videos in English but say “fuck the letter V, we will pronounce it as W”.
28:00 was that a fart?

It was the dog... I mean the chair.. ;-)
It's a shame they spend so long distilling slowly and then chill filter the whisky. In such a competitive market I'm sure many chose to spend their money on non-chill filtered malts at 46%+.
It doesn’t prove it’s a good spirit if the Queen mum liked it, it’s just like saying Joe Bloggs liked it down the road makes no difference she’s not an expert on whiskey
