Nice review. Ive livd here over 50 years. One of the lowest crime cities in the US over 200K. Also Armenian food central. Birthplace of actor John Wayne. Also interesting is the Brand Art Gallery and Library dedicated to art and music. Also soon the Armenian historical museum. Glendale has enjoyed low crime but has had some some interesting murderous characters. Back in the 80s the Hillside Stranglers Keneth Biancci and Angelo Buono operated from Bono's top shop in Glendale. Efrain Saldivar worked at Adventist hospital and was convicted of killing many patients. Called "The Angle of Death. And lastly John Orr was a city firefighter and serial arsonist finally caught and convicted of murder when someone died in one of his fires. Low crime in glendale except for the occasional serial killer, heheh. The author James M Cain (Double Indemnity, Mildred Pierce, and the Postman Always Rings Twice) lived in adjacent Burbank but set all of his novel in Glendale. Great public libraries. Brand Library and The Train Station will be recognizable in many movies. Because of the convenient location, if you know glendale well, you will recognize many shooting location in tv shows, like the old Police Station. During Covid I wrote a murder mystery set in Glendale called "What You Wish For" If you like that kind of read. This isn't exactly a cash run, Amazon pays $3 a book or download so if a couple people get it, I might order Zankou Chicken tonight for dinner :)

I might add that Glendale Community College is an excellent school and the Montrose shopping district is very small town main street in feel with many good restaurants and perfect for a nice stroll and meal. If you can afford one of the more expensive hillside homes you can get a great view from Long beach north along the coast on a clear evening. It's also a green community with 50,000 trees on public parkways.

I disagree with you on some of the info about Glendale. Lived here practically all my life. I have to say this your 30 minutes away from the beach and 30 minutes away from the snow driving with no traffic. It's a safe City, yes, however, TOO MANY COPS WITH GOD COMPLEX. AND IF YOU LIKE TO PARTY, we're just 5 minutes away from Hollywood. It's not an expensive Uber ride.

I forgot to mention, there's no rent control for anybody trying to rent. And houses have become sooo expensive. Even an old run down, MANDATORY, Fixer upper sells easily for over a million. Even if it was in the worst part of Glendale (there really isn't a worst part in Glendale), but would still cost over a million!

😂Glendale only serves one.part of the community that's it if your the blue collar working class there's nothing for you here who thrives in Glendale are people with money aand people living off the government that's it I lived in Glendale all my life and it sucks for the ordinary class

"Glendale are people living off the government" Very true! You also forgot to mention rude people and has the highest fraud rates. For the author of this video, if you don't believe me, go search as to why car insurance in Glendale is one of the highest in the state, if not the highest of all😂

I love glendale now I know why is such a great city ...very very safe and great for kids ...I walk my kid every where to school to shops to the mall .

Only 8% of Glendales population is in poverty. Actually pretty low compared to other cities. Majority of the families are middle class. Sounds like you have a narrative bias complex.

Glendale cons are Armenians, Armenians and more Armenians.
