Yeah, seemed like a great guy, really working hard and grateful. Think Dave should have given it a little higher score tbh. I think the fact that he knew it wasn't coal-fired docked it a few decimal points, because it looked pretty New Haven to me given their restrictions and despite what Dave said about it. But still a feelgood review and I hope their restaurant has success in the future.

That place is pretty cool. It has an outdoor bar and lounge right next to the pizza spot. Plus a hookah lounge. Its a cool spot right by the freeway

By the thumbnail I thought this was going to be a monster score like 8.6, so 8.1 is surprising. Also it seems like he picked the floppiest slice in the box.

I've tried 3 of the pizzas there now. The crust is like tough cardboard with no sponge to it. I want to like it, but it's inconsistent

If the guy didn’t say New Haven style I think the score would have been higher but he knew how to get Dave in and took his shot. Pizza looked incredible, the vibe of the place was sweet and an 8.1 is a great score.

I've been here twice, and I think they're really good pizza. They don't look to busy when I go on weekends though, prob will be after this. Good for them. Tip: Tell them to make it 'very well done' or 'New Haven well done' in order to get the New Haven style crisp because it seems like they're afraid to do it normally or even with a 'well done' request

Tried it recently, and I knew eventually one day Dave would come and do this review, it was just a matter of time. I haven’t tried traditional New Haven, but something told me Dave was going to love this pizza. Glad Ozzy’s is getting the reputation it deserves.
