You can do it!

I often etch designs on antique mirrors. I started having trouble finding suitable mirrors that weren't super expensive. Turns out it's much easier and cheaper to find cool picture frames with glass and just spray the glass to make it a mirror. Works great.

I love these. I did one with a smaller rectangle window. I added a shelf to the bottom of the window & put a saying on the front of the glass with black permanent vinyl & really liked the look.of it. I do craft events & wanted to keep it, but thought I'd take just that one to see if it would sell. It was sold within the first hour of the event. Now I catch myself looking for old windows to do things like this with. I have gotten a few multi pane ones with a pane or two broken out for free. So I've inserted a piece of thin plywood, painted it, seal it in with glue & caulking & put various vinyl sayings or images on the wood sections. So just because the window has a pane or two missing doesnt mean its not of use. Like you, i try to reuse/recycle things some would just toss. These things have a lot of character. ❤

Great job! I have done similar projects but used white paint on the back. Actually I have used both black and white and i liked how the white came out better. It had the same vintage look just much brighter. Thanks for all your videos and the time you spend making them😊

So sorry I got rid of my old windows, this would be a great project in the Springtime. I work on wood signs now, thanks to you, and I’d like to know if you put hardware on your signs or do you leave it up to the buyer to hang it their way?

That's awesome! I have an old window in the shed that I saved when we had new windows installed in our 1865 home. I saved this one window because the second wife of the original owner of our house etched her name into one pane of glass with her diamond ring. I guess she didn't trust her beloved. 😅

So pretty. I love this. I can't buy materials for this right now, but I'm really curious what would happen if you sprayed the water upright... if there would be cool drip trails or if it would just look streaky in a bad way.

Love this. Have you ever used oven cleaner to take off paint in place of the paint striper? I was wondering how good it actually worked. I bought some for that purpose but have not dared to try it. ❤
