They’ve already released a single from it called “creatures in heaven” and have dropped a presave link for another track that’s gonna come out soon!! ALSO dave once said that he wanted to do a space themed album back when he was making dreamland BUT he didn’t feel like it was the right time so he made like six songs and called that idea off, but it looks like it’s back!!

I remember thinking back then that I really hoped for the day where I get to see more video essays and analyses of them and their music, because their music has helped me through so many years of my life. Your video made me remember those thoughts, and I really want to thank you for that. I've always looked up to your videos and editing, and it's safe to say you've REALLY hit it out of the ballpark with this video. I mean, heck, your editing is so in tune with the corresponding Glass Animals' album and it is AMAZING! I don't even know how to describe it, every section just feels "right" and it gives me the vibe that each album gives. Some of these things about GA I never even knew, and I'm happy you covered them. glass animals have a very specific music style, that not everyone likes, but i think what made heat waves be so popular is the fact that it's their most conventional and common song, that other people easily listen to on the radio. We barely hear any other GA song on the radio because this is not what people listen to im sorry if this is not clear, english isnt my first language and i struggle a little to express my thoughts but i hope it is still understandable :))

First off, amazing video as always! I was so excited when I saw you did a deep dive of one of my favorite bands, and you definitely didn't disappoint. I found GA right before HTBAHB dropped. I liked all the singles leading up to it, and when the whole album finally dropped I felt it had a lot of high points, overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. And then came the Dreamland phase, and admitedly, I didn't care much for it. The only single that caught my ear was Deja Vu, because it *almost* sounded like their first album. I hate to be THAT fan but Zaba was a 10/10 for me, I just fell in love with their minimalist, dark, slumped beats. The whole vibe, the jungle aesthetic, the ambient animal sounds, it makes for such a complete album experience. BUT, I love these videos partially because they convince me to sometimes give things another try. So I think a re-listen of Dreamland might be in store for me...

Yo, middle 8, you should totally make a video on Black Country, New Road! Their latest album is one of the best I've heard in a while, and I think there would be plenty to talk about given how much they've evolved and their uncertain future with Isaac gone for the time being

So so sooo happy you made a video about Glass Animals!!!!! Saw them in Bonnaroo for the first time in 2015 not knowing who they were and I was blown away by their performance; I came out a huge fan and have followed them ever since. Zaba will forever be my favorite album by them & that performance has so many great memories I will cherish for a lifetime! This band is so special & seeing everyone's comments showing the immense support for the band just makes me excited for what they have in store for us in the future.

I recommend listening to their Song Exploder episode, it's incredibly revealing. "Heat Waves" is actually about the death of a friend, which is not the first thing you think of when you hear it.

It's All So Incredibly Loud is one of my favorite tracks ever! I listened to it when it first came out, during the start of the pandemic and while I was dealing with some personal feelings and it just hit so well during that time! Imagine how dumbfounded I was to see Heat Waves at the top of the charts when I checked a few weeks ago!

Gooey was the first song of theirs I ever heard, I was listening to an alternative playlist on spotify, I added it to my library and didnt think much of it but then I went and listened to how to be a human being and was hooked, Poplar Street, Other Side of Paradise, Youth, and Agnes we're my favorites, and then Heat Waves BLEW UP and they were all over the place lol

i'm not old but i'm not necessarily young either - nevertheless glass animals has been the first band i stumbled across in early high school years that consistently create music that makes me feel as though they've been observing my own life events. it's eerily close to different experiences i've encountered and they encapsulate the exact mood we feel during the good and the bad times. it's funny, how connected we all are as humans. i can't wait to see what the future brings for them :')

I absolutely loved this documentary video, because it helped me get into Glass Animals even more, thanks to the deep research into the songs, discovering fun facts and stories behind each and every song, even mentioning the previously notable pineapple that core Glass Animals fans known about, unlike some new fans who discovered them through Dreamland, and on top of that was the fact that the video referenced the short intermission songs included in Dreamland, and the compilations displaying the age stages of a person. The editing also reflected a lot of the art styles from the album covers and also the mood of the songs played in the video. The scripting and voice over seemed very immersive and emotional, and the ending. After taking a visit back to this video, the title and the thumbnail contradicted the video in a negative way, which kinda puts me off in a few ways. But that doesn't change the fact that this video served its purpose and beyond. It helped me see the meaning and the story that Glass Animals puts into their incredible, experimental and always will be, music concepts.
