This is a great watch. The quality is above Rolex and on par with Blancpain, in my opinion. People that have the means to buy a watch like this, just need to have the type of personality that allows them to step outside the norm.

I love this watch with the anthracite dial & red gold accent.

Great guy and very helpful. I know many would disagree, but I'm selling my Submariner and I pulled the trigger on the SeaQ Panorama Date, resale be damned. I like the SeaQ better and think it's a better build. I'm letting the market bubble foot the bill....

Don't know how I missed this gem of a video, thank you Bruce. LOVE everything about this watch except... the "G" cut outs in the rotor. I might be crazy, but the cutouts look to me like someone did it in their basement with a coping saw. Other than that, what a gorgeous watch. Beautiful.

Can you please in your next review of this watch include the weight of this watch and the other watches that are going against it in comparison. of all the brands you do watch reviews on the glashutte brand shows quality through the camera the best. I can't say why or how, but this brand pops quality even through the camera.

Your video would make me to change my mind to this get SeaQ instead of 50 fathoms because of its dual dome sapphire and very nice dial, playing so well with natural light. And yet I like its beautiful calibre with 4 days power reserve. Thank you for your good review.

Liked all three watches pictured at the end. Really dig Glashutte and German watches. Could see spending north of $10k on a Senator or 70’s at some point. Bet the used market is a perfect place to find a gently used one. Our local AD has them and they are beautiful.

In real life, a higher quality alternative to the Sub, at a more affordable price point than the latest diver from The Crown on Chrono24. Why not ?

I have this piece in blue on canvas . On bracelet its too blingy for me. Probably too heavy as well. On the provided canvas bracelet its fabulous on my 7 inch wrist. It becomes a true blue tool watch, built like a tank. I dive with this piece everyday and its not babied at all. Its very high horology, true, but it flies under the radar. Nobody knows what it is or cares. I love this aspect of it. It looks a bit like any other large diver. Great one watch .

I love this watch. It is particularly fetching when I'm feeling that "enough already with Rolex" feeling. And the two date digit wheels in the same plane is seriously haute. That all said, I think it's a different trigger I pull at these numbers. It's not like the Big Pilot, where I just don't see $10K+ in the watch. I absolutely see the value here. But I just don't see it happening for me. And it needs crown guards.

and 3 years later as I know the price is still 12,400.00 and the center links are all brushed steel. I love this watch, I wear it every chance I get

That concept breaks into two groups... those who try to show off because they have too much already and those who don't have much and are proud of their accomplishments. They seem almost the same in practice but are incredibly different in the thoughts that go behind the two.

It’s funny to watch this video 3 years after you released it. Hearing you say you wouldn’t want to wear it because it’s too “proud on the wrist” and knowing you just bought a solid yellow gold Rolex Presidential. lol! That’s funny! I dont think there is a “more proud on wrist” watch in the world!

In my opinion, Glashuette Original is a very underrated luxury brand. The SeaQ confirms this. Probably it wouldn't be my first choice on there range, but anyway a great watch.

This is my next watch 100%!!!

Nice watch. I also really like the Glashütte PanoMaticLunar. BTW, I got the call from my AD on the ceramic Kermit yesterday. ;) I'll line it up next to my new no date and black date Subs (and OP41s) and do another upload soon.

Helluva watch , albeit at a helluva a price ..... like to see a broader bezel to match overall size of the watch and not crazy about the bracelet. The movement and that dark inky blue dial are showstoppers .

tried it on the bracelet as well at an AD. too big for my 17cm wrist. even a blancpain fifty fathoms in 45mm wears a lot better on my wrist (which i also think is the better watch, even if on the sailcloth strap). think you need a larger wrist to pull this off. you can definitely wear it well bruce!

what a beautiful stunner... Glashütte as a brand can't beat Rolex... but the watch itself is in a whole different league compared to the Sub.

I own it and much better than any sub also wear way better on my 17cm wrist than the blancpain. The quality is outstanding and for me even better than Ff...the case is amazing. Thats the big deal with this GO, while others GO have a just solid case or mediocre, this is awesome here

I love mine but I’m always afraid of scratching those center links.

The two tone is absolutely stunning. My only nit pick is the rotor. I hate the design of the back to back Gs. It doesn’t go with the brands identity. It’s like a low/mid tier ladies shoe brand.

Could you say how sharp the crown is? - Does it dig into the skin?

Overall not bad, however I’m not a fan of the mixed markers and don’t really care for the arrow hand.

Oh my god - the pip doesn’t line up at 12. Seriously? It’s incredible how high end divers struggle with bezel alignment and movement - I just sent my new Fifty back for exchange as the bezel had too much play! I appreciate the beauty of handmade watches but not over accuracy and function.

I love your videos Bruce but how can you even mention or compare a mass-produced, steel Sub (green bezel - big wow!) with haute horology brand pieces like the FF and Sea Q? Not even in the same league mate. The fact that some sheeple are prepared to pay frankly ludicrous sums for the Veblen watch more demonstrates a status akin to a collectible baseball card than a high-level timepiece.

This watch will be perfect with Milanese strap...

Terrific watch - it blows the Submariner and sea dweller off from the water ... it’s in another lever anyway

I think if you like it and you have the money, it is worth it. For someone who does not make at least $100,000 a year, it is absolutely not worth it. Buy an Oris Diver 65 or a Seiko SLA 033 or SLA 017 for that matter. Or even one of the 62MAS style reissues. In all of those watches you get a slimmer and more wearable timepiece. IMHO always. --Michael

Not my cup of tea either just make it flat . IMO the omega smp has the best glass in the business . Slight dome that meets the bezel edge exactly ....

No such thing as too proud.

Only a two year warranty? Only 300m depth rating? And yet, 52mm lug-to-lug and 16mm case thickness? Nicely finished but not really competitive as a serious dive watch, so no thank you.

Under no circumstances should you ever buy an new GO, the value drops 30% the second you buy it. Used however its great.

Meh. IWC has had that clasp for years. I'd pass on this for Sub 10 out of 10 times. Maybe it it shows up at a Tourneau outlet center @ 50% off.

Way f’ing OVERPRICED. It’s just stainless steel and has no name recognition like Rolex or even Omega. I think this watch is competitive against the Omega Seamaster, but no way it's value is even close to Rolex Submariner. This watch will only be purchased by 1.) people impatient to wait for a Rolex Sub or 2.) people who already own a Rolex Sub and want a second watch.
