This is what happens when the police get a chance to convict someone they have been after for a long time. It sounds to me the police got right in to the mind of the female eye witness and filled their head with info on how he was a bad man and defo shot the husband. Free this guy and investigate the relevant police involved in this case. Hope the boy wins a couple of million for his troubles.

It's nearly impossible for an untrained civilian witness to give a description of a night time assailant, especially with such details as were given, only those trained in observation, one with an agenda to misdirect, lastly those being coerced under duress. An angel Gage is not, but going down for a crime committed by a whole other form of low life is out right despicable!!!

This case wouldn't make it anywhere near a trial - the clothes were matched to the witness description rather than the other way around, and nowhere near enough gsr on those clothes, shot apart by any competent Legal Aid litigator. Even if you learn through tv, there are a few programs that teach you the right information 😬

How they came to a guilty verdict in this case is unbelievably bad. In no way shape or form should he have been found guilty in this case the police were utterly incompitant and to base a large part of your evidence on a pair of eyes in the dark is ludicrous. The male witness who saw him without his face covered was the best part of the eye witnesses and was completely ignored. They basically convicted him because of his unsavoury past.

The Southside can rival the Northside shitholes, that's not even counting Govan. Plenty gangland activity. Back in the day when I was wandering around in the late 80s early 90s in Pollok, South Nitshill, and Priesthill, the areas and streets looked 3rd world. Dormanside road, Pinmore, Glenmuir, Linnhead..... I'm a North Glasgow boy but some of that shit rivalled the deprivation we had in Ruchill, Maryhill, Royston, Possil, Springburn, and Blackhill. Looked great - boarded up windows, layers of graffiti, no asphalt on the streets, very dim streetlamps. Mind you, around Craigendmuir street in Blackhill the streets were mud, and that was a tenement scheme, so always looked 10 times more foreboding than the new schemes. I got out of Ruchill, and eventually the U.K. People wouldn't believe their eyes to see those old schemes, the utter deprivation then. They're gone now.

Mill Wright - Minutiae? Ignoring that the best description of the suspect is nothing like the convicted mans? That the CCTV evidence (denied to the defence) doesn't prove the Car in Easterhouse was the Car in Cambuslang; that the firearm residue on the coat which was different from all the witness statements was likely to be historical or second hand; etc. Beyond reasonable doubt means what it says not well we dinna like the guy and he's a bad sort anyway.

Havent looked this up to see if anything else has happened since this video but lets be honest the police obviously have it in for Gage, Gage himself is obviously known to police, doesnt like them and isnt willing to work with them, that night there is a good chance hes been commiting crime himself if car is burnt out but this is a joke. 6ft 2 is a massive difference to 5ft 10 or 5ft 11, he hads long hair not short hair and everyoe was so sure about this jacket being a bubble/padded jacket. The guy who claims its a volvo, doesnt just say volvo he actually names the model so its not a saab!, the fact that the car isnt seen on any CCTV but isnt brought up in court is a disgrace. The wife has just wanted someone jailed for her husbands death and the police have obviously made her believe he is guilty so shes said the comments about his eyes. Awful miscarriage of justice again in Scotland

This is rather worrying members of the public have to put some sort of Trust in police Scotland when main stream newspaper coverage , has reports of paedophilia sex offences by police Scotland , any doubts just google it some are serving custodial prison sentences ,apparently that there very untrustworthy and frankly bias in there methods ,for police Scotland staff to be convicted for sex offending is despicable and repugnant

he just decided to burn his car that night, shortly after the murder. It just happened to be the same color and almost identical to the car he's burning that night. There's also no other suspects. They don't offer any new ones. I believe the guy is guilty.

The thing is - that car may have been there for weeks. They noticed it when they started looking for a white Volvo 44. Gage is who he is. He may have been there when a firearm was discharged, he may have been given a firearm to dispose of - he may have been in the woods when someone was shooting coke cans. The car might have been used for gangster shit of any kind. It doesnt make him the murderer. The one guy who saw the murderer's face said it wasnt him. Without that car being the getaway, theres no evidence worth spit.
