GLAMIS Witches Eyes Win AGAIN!

This was probably a once in a lifetime scene at GLAMIS. Four sides x sides pile it in and stack up! As the gentlemen states in the video, he's been coming to Glamis for 50 years and has never seen anything like this! Watch the video and see if you agree! Anybody viewing this that does not have Dune experience or know much about dunning or communications, please watch the video here for an example: • Pitch and Roll with us...

Personally, I disagree with your sentiment that you shouldn't pass judgement. This is dangerous behavior that you see all the time from newer people and you should pass judgement. They never should have crested a blind hill at that speed. Its would be one thing if they had just bumped each other from the blindness. But to actually end up on top of each other speed was involved. They clearly were outdriving their sight distance.

I respect where your coming from. However, 1. The blue angels are professionals stuntman performing stunts with a known level of risk. 2. They are in a isolated environment. 3. My child won't be sitting at the bottom of a dune in the path of their recklessness. 4. Their crash won't effect my future ability to recreate on public lands. I personally think this incident could be used to highlight just some of the danger of certain actions like riding past you sight line. Again, totally respect your view to not call them out. I just think there is good to be had from the opposite view. Nice video though and I love your sand car.

@@lifelinefabllc Thank you for your post, please understand that if you are taking your children to the dunes, you're putting them at risk. This is why 5 point harnesses are involved. It's a dangerous sport, the thrill of duning is the speed. The only real rules in the dunes are don't drink and drive and don't go faster than 15 mph within 50 ft of a camp sight or parked/standing vehicle/person. All the rest are common sense which not everyone has. All accidents are considered to be no fault unless one of those two rules is broken. And unfortunately you cannot control the people that are outside of your vehicle. Unfortunately there are reckless people all over the dunes that just love to rip by campsites at 50 plus miles an hour. My children also grew up in the dunes, so I know what your feeling.

@@lifelinefabllc and by the way, the rolled Can-Am at the bottom of the hill was a separate accident and that had a father with his two kids strapped in the back. It rolled three times down the hill on its own due to driver error as well. The same witches eye caused them to crash as he swerved to miss it. So it's not just these four guys. Watch out for everyone.

I’ll pass judgement since you won’t. You don’t speed into any area in the dunes you can’t see, or haven’t pre-scouted. Excessive speed into unknown territory caused this. People speeding and following too close.
